"So you know one of our stylists, Hee-young, right? Well..." I dragged.

The other members further away from me leant forward, anticipating what I would say next. Well, here it goes.

"Just as she got back from the Manila fanmeet, she discovered her house was broken into and her grandmother was stabbed. Long story short, her grandmother passed away and I was basically at the hospital with Hee-young the whole time because I knew she needed someone. I sent her home and by the time I got back, it was almost 6 and I barely got much sleep. I also could not help but worry for her as of now. It is rather unprofessional of me to do so and because of that, I apologise," I confessed.

Jun's head dropped when he heard the words coming out from my mouth. All that happened without him knowing. He also probably felt disappointed that Hee-young only told me. Maybe a tinge of jealousy too.

"Wow... you really do like her. You even ditched sleep for her," Jeonghan was the first to speak.

"Even after she told you she was not ready for a relationship, you still stood by her," another member added.

Yes, I lied about what happened between me and Hee-young at the hospital when she was admitted. I told them she was not ready for a relationship and they bought it.

Jun looked up with tears brimming his eyes.

"So... Hee-young's grandmother is... gone? Just like that? She was so warm and friendly. She-" Jun cried in disbelief.

He stopped himself halfway to breathe. I got up and made my way over to him. I thought the same too when I received the news. I kneeled down in front of him and hugged him. Now, he too needed some comforting. He thought of Hee-young's grandmother like his own. It could get rather lonely for him without his family here so she was there to fill that void. It was not surprising that the news hit him hard.

The room was silent which amplified Jun's quiet sobbing. Jun started speaking in Chinese, expressing his disbelief. He also worried about Hee-young. Seeing him sad like that made me tear up too.

Then I felt an arm around me then another and another. I looked up to see the boys had joined in in a group hug. They did not know the deceased personally but they wanted us to know they were there for us too. We stayed that way as one group for as long as we felt we needed to.

When the group hug session ended, Seungcheol gave us a pat on the shoulder and words of encouragement. I felt grateful to have a leader like him. We took a short break to calm ourselves down. Jun and I went to the washroom to wash our faces and calm down. Jun leaned on the sink.

"So she's really gone, dead. I guess she wouldn't want us to be so sad just like this. Hee-young's Halmeoni, I promise I'll take care of Hee-young," he spoke out loud.

In my heart, I made the same promise. That was probably what she wanted- for her granddaughter to be safe and sound

When we got back all washed up, Hoshi apologised to me for scolding me. Of course, I forgave him. He had no idea of my circumstances. Jun managed to pull himself together faster than I ever could. Well, he did have experience back in China when he was an actor. Now that I thought of it, perhaps he could fake it better.

We practised for half and hour before lunch. I ate my lunch quickly as I had matters to attend to and Hee-young. I had to check on her physically myself. I excused myself and left the restaurant. I crossed the parking lot. I took out my phone to text Hee-young that I was on the way.

Without noticing, a black van pulled up right by my side and 3 men in casual clothes dragged me in. I tried to fight back but they were swift and my lightweight body made it easier for them. They shut the door. Another man took my phone and did something to it. I could not see much much with the men holding me back. I did, however, see him snap the back of my phone back. He tossed it to me and the other men let me go with caution.
