I slipped my hand in my right pocket and pulled out my keys. I played around with the bunch of keys until I found the right one. I slipped it into the keyhole of my front door and unlocked it. Without hesitation, I turned the doorknob and pushed the door open gently.

"I'm home~" I sang out as I entered my humble abode.

My grandmother came out from her room with a wide smile on her face. I placed my shoes aside and ran over to her to give her a hug. She hugged me back and expressed her thankfulness for me returning home safely. It was a routine that we never got tired of.

"So... Tell me about the 2 gentlemen who greeted me during the video call. They seem to be close to you," she nudged me.

"They're just friends of mine. Nothing else," I shrugged.

"For now," she remarked with a sly smile.

She slowly stepped towards her room.

"Grandma! What do you mean 'for now'? Will they turn into my best friends or enemies or is it something else? It's kind of vague," I asked, utterly confused.

She turned and smiled.

"Oh, I wouldn't want to spoil a good story, would I?" she said before disappearing into her room.

"Grandma's weird today," I thought to myself.

2 months later~

Since Seventeen's comeback was not until roughly next month and we were not called on often, I had more free time. I would waste the day surfing the internet, helping my grandmother around the house or just having some alone time outside.

Over the few months, I had gotten closer to Jun and Minghao. They still had to practice for their comeback and Minghao would sometimes tell me about how tired practice was. Apparently, Hoshi was one hell of a dance instructor.

Somehow, I ended up being added to a group chat with Minghao and Jun. They wanted me to talk more with the other members but I refused due to most of them being older than me. I would definitely end up being silent or giving awkward answers. They understood me and did not add any other members to the group chat.

On a particular Saturday, I decided to take a stroll in a park. About 10 minutes into my little stroll, I checked my messenger app.

Jun: What are u all doing right now?

Minghao: Watching cat videos on my phone.

Jun: Cat videos? 0.0

Minghao: Don't judge. Especially since u were the one watching videos of a man sitting and smiling that one time.

Me: I'm just taking a stroll in the park. It's quite near the company building.

Minghao: The members go there too to relieve stress.

Me: OH I FOUND A CAT STUCK IN A TREE!

HEE-YOUNG: I'M GOING TO SAVE IT! BYE!

*Hee-Young went offline*

JUN: WOAH SO HEROIC! I hope you succeed in saving the cat!

ME:UMMM... JUN... Isn't that tree a little too tall? And look at the branches! They are unstable.

I exited the application and tossed my phone aside. The clothes I wore were decent so I just slipped on a pair of shoes and quickly unlocked the door. Jun poked his head out from behind his phone.
