"Umm... Could you give me a minute?" I asked the hairdresser.
She nodded and went to fetch some items from the back. I grabbed the nearest magazine and rolled it up. Jun and Minghao were still glaring and whacking each other. I raised it and slammed it down where both their hands intersected. It produced a loud sound and the shop went silent. Everyone turned their heads towards me. Minghao and Jun groaned in pain and looked at me. I was almost frozen stiff.
I looked around and my eyes widened. I did not expect my hit to produce a loud sound. I bowed and apologised several times and told them to continue. The room carried on with their work and the light buzzing atmosphere returned.
I turned back to the two.
"C-Can you stop hitting each other and staring at each other? I don't want you guys to cause a scene. You guys are idols too. You need to uphold your image," I scolded them.
They looked guilty and apologised and told me they would not hit each other again. They seemed like children. I walked away to put the magazine back. Once I returned it to its original place, I turned around to see them arguing in whispers. I sighed. I picked up the magazine again.
I went up to them and stood in between the both of them. I did not want to be responsible for them. Nonetheless, I did something to save the face of the company. I put my hands on my hips. I glared at both of them.
Instead of giving them a second warning, I stood there in silence and flipped through the magazine I had in my hand. Minghao and Jun exchanged looks and turned silent. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Jun, reaching his hand out to hit Minghao. Right at that moment, I shut the magazine and lightly slapped his hand.
"Alright alright. Sorry," Jun said as he retracted his hand.
They were extremely silent the rest of the time. Jun was done quickly and I checked his hairstyle before approving it.
"Admit it, I look good," he had a smug look on his face.
"Yeah, yeah whatever. Just go to the side there and wait for the rest to be done," I told him, shoving him away.
He shouted over to Minghao about how I said he looked good. Minghao only managed a frown and glared at him through the mirror.
Hoshi took Jun's place. By then, only 3 members were left. I stepped slightly further from him and towards Minghao since I knew he was attached. It was best to keep my distance. I glanced over to Minghao. He was silent and stared straight into the mirror. I was unsure if he wanted someone to talk to him to relieve his boredom or if he wanted to be left alone like that.
"Hee-Young,".
I turned to where the voice came from.
"Yeah?" I replied his call.
"Do you think brown hair would look good on me?" he asked for my feedback.
I looked at him and imagined him with brown hair. It was hard to tell until we have seen the final product. Nonetheless, I think he would look fine with brown hair.
"Yeah. I think it will," I commented with a grin.
He nodded and smiled. We talked a bit and then he asked me a question.
"Will you consider getting your hair dyed," he asked me.
I hummed and pondered. I placed my hand under my chin and looked upwards. Have I? I guess I have. Perhaps not too vibrant. I do not like standing out. The stares from people and how they were probably judging me if I ever dyed my hair a vibrant colour. I looked back at Minghao.
