Months later, we were given an opening that was Seventeen's well-deserved 2-week break. We could finally counter the obstacle that had been preventing the advancement of our relationship. We were going to China. I managed to get a 3-day leave as I was still working with Pristin. That meant that even if things turned out fine, I could only stay for 2 and a half days before leaving. Well, if things turned ugly, which I hope not, I had the 2 days to pick myself up. Either way, I still had to face the reality of whatever situation there was.

I sat sandwiched in between Jun and Minghao on the plane. Lots of fans would kill to be where I was. I snickered to myself as I glanced at the 2 good-looking talented men on both my sides. I would sit here for about 2 hours.

After the plane took off and the clouds came into view, close view, I started to feel my heart beat faster. I gripped the seat I sat on to relieve the tension within me. I was getting closer to the execution of the plan. I would have to confront parents who could do anything to ruin my life. My nerves got more bundled up and I could not ignore the rapid beating of my heart.

Then I felt a finger tap my right shoulder. I turned to my right where Minghao was. He seemed immersed in the book he was reading. He pointed towards Jun on the other side.

"He did it."

I looked over to Jun who was acting suspiciously. He was suddenly so restless and did not make eye contact with me. I then chose to ignore him and scrolled through whatever the little screen in front of me had to offer-*tap*

I turned to Jun and he was chuckling.

"Sorry, I was just bored. Do you want to play hand games with me?" he asked, his eyes twinkling with a gleam of hope.

"Fine."

5 rounds of hand games later, I took a break while Jun was still restless. I leaned towards Minghao to consult him about Jun.

"If he were our child, I would actually care but since he's Jun, I am just going to ignore him. I've handled him for a long time so hey! It's your turn now!" he exclaimed with strong sarcasm.

He flipped a page on his book and ignored my pleas.

Great. Now I was sandwiched in between a mature, done-with-his-groupmate man who just wanted to read and a literal child. I would be stuck here for a little less than 2 hours.

Then I had an idea.

"Ok, guys. How about you teach me? Essential Chinese, survival skills I need in China and all the good stuff. Anything I should know. Go. Shoot," I suggested.

Then Jun started rambling straight away about food and something about fish. I had to slow him down as he sounded as if he were rapping. He calmed down and reorganised his points

"And... Basic Chinese-" Jun was moving on to the next topic when he was interrupted.

"Hey, I'm her Chinese teacher. Leave that to me," Minghao told him.

"Oh, I thought you were too busy reading that book that you wouldn't notice," Jun smirked.

Minghao rolled his eyes before taking out a notebook and pen from his bag. He revised the words and phrases that he had taught me so far and added a few more. Then, he wrote out some Chinese characters I would often see and what they meant. Of course, there were breaks in between the headaches from the new vocabulary added to my dictionary.

"You don't have to press yourself to learn and remember this right away. I'll stick by you so you won't get lost. But just in case..." he said to me.

He flipped to a new page and wrote on both sides of the page neatly. When he was done, he tore the page and passed it to me. I looked through it and it was easy to refer to.
