Killian was just leaving the coffee shop with Regina when his phone started ringing. He saw Victor's name on the screen and sighed. Him and Regina ran to her car and sped towards the lab.

"What's wrong?" Killian asked as he answered.

"Fire at Springtide City National Bank. I'm not sure how many people are trapped," Victor explained with panic in his voice.

"I'm on my way," Killian said. They pulled up to the lab, but he didn't go up into the building. instead, he ran around to the back in the alleyway and focused on his suit coming to him. He closed his eyes and imagined the suit peeling itself from the stand and flying out the window and into his hands. He held his hands out and the suit dropped into them. He quickly discarded his old clothes and ran as fast as he could to the bank. His mind abilities made him able to enhance whatever thing he needed to save the day. Of course he couldn't go two thousand miles per hour like The Flash in the comics, but his speed of one hundred fifty was just enough to get wherever he needed to go in a short amount of time. When Killian got to the bank, he used his telekinesis to remove the smoke, and people started rushing out, coughing as they did so. He could hear a little girl's cry from inside. Without letting go of the smoke, he ran inside and dodged over the burning pieces of wood and looked around. The heat was intense. He saw movement from the corner of his eye and looked over to see a little girl hunched in the corner of the bank, holding what looked like a stuffed teddy bear. He ran over and kneeled in front of the little girl. "I'm going to get you out of here. Grab my hand," he told her and held out his hand for her. She grabbed it and he helped her up. She fell down onto her knees and he swept her up into his arms. He ran outside and a blonde woman rushed to him and the child.

"Alexandra!" The woman cried. Paramedics rushed to the mother and daughter and gave them both oxygen.

Killian nodded to the civilians and ran away from the scene and back to the lab. He rushed back inside and up to the fourteenth floor and put his old clothes back on and put the suit back onto the rack. "And The Mind saves the day again," Victor said. "You know what you should try? Moving two separate things at once."

"We tried that before, remember? Major headache, dizziness, nose bleeds, that was what came out of that. I'm fine with only moving one thing at a time, but thanks for the suggestion, Whale."

Victor held his hands up in surrender. "All you need is some practice."

"It could get me killed."

"That super human brain of yours is going to save you from getting killed. Seriously, with all the advancements in your head, you can do anything."

"I can't travel through time. I can't fly. Though that would be pretty interesting."

"If you would practice more you would be able to fly."

"I've been practicing for a year, plus saving people for the last two. Nothing that has ever happened is something that I can't handle. And I'm going to take advantage of the quiet moment that I have to try to find him."

"You can't find him. He's gone off the map," Regina said with an annoyed tone of voice.

"And that's what worries me," Killian said, pointing at her. "That man did this to me. I have to stop him before he does it to someone else. He wants to rule Springtide City, and I won't let him. I have to find him and stop him." Killian grabbed his laptop and left the room.

"Where do you think Jekyll has been this entire time?" Regina asked Victor under her breath.

"I have no idea. But I know that wherever he is, he's probably trying to recreate the serum that gave Killian his powers in the first place. If Jekyll is anything how Killian described, we have to find him," Victor mumbled.

"I'm worried about him. He's going to get himself killed."

"I know. That's why I'm pushing him to get better. To get stronger so when Jekyll does show up again, Killian can defeat him once and for all."

Regina nodded. She turned around to the doorway of the room to find it empty. She turned back to Whale. "As much as I act like I don't like him, I don't want to see him hurt."

"I know. And all we have to do is persuade him to practice more. The things that he is doing now isn't practice. It's all muscle memory for him. He needs to work on more things at a time. He could levitate up to twenty things at a time if he wanted to. All he needs is the right motivation to push him to get better."

"When Jekyll shows up and beats Killian's ass the first time, then we know he's going to increase his power."

"The perfect wake up call."

"Exactly."

Killian came back into the lab with his laptop in hand. He put it down and went over to the wall and punched it while screaming in frustration.

"You didn't find anything?" Victor asked.

"Of course I bloody didn't!" Killian rubbed his temples with his hand. "I need a drink. I'll see you all later."

Regina and Victor both jumped as Killian forcefully slammed the door shut.

"It's not good for him to be storing all that anger," Regina said.

"I know. But, once he gets hurt, he'll understand," Victor said. He packed up his briefcase. "I'm heading home too. Lock up when you're done." He tossed Regina a set of keys and left the building. Regina leaned back in the chair and sighed. She twisted the key ring around her finger, getting lost in her head.
