Episode 6

Lori, Carl, and I started feeding the chickens; Carl even called Lori a housewife, which made me laugh. We left, but not without me hearing a chicken clucking in pain. I saw Patricia with a bag that moved in a barrel. When I followed, I saw walkers in the barn. I was horrified. I left, not knowing what to think. Later on, Carl asked Shane about him teaching him how to shoot, but he snuck a gun. Lori, Rick, Dale, and Shane talked about it when Carl said he was sorry, but wanted to look for Sophia.

"I can't do that without a gun," Carl said.

"And if you don't mind me saying, Rick, you taught me how to shoot a gun when we were under Morgan and Duane's care. It wouldn't be fair for me, a possible orphan, to know how to and not Carl, your biological son," I explained.

Lori was a little surprised to hear me say that, but she let him. We trained and we were doing really good. When we were done, I overheard Glenn tell Dale about the barn and Lori being pregnant.

"Lori's pregnant?" I asked.

"Yeah. You're not shocked about walkers in the barn?" Glenn asked.

"No. This morning, I heard a chicken in pain. Patricia took a bag of chickens to the barn and I followed her. I was scared, watching those chickens being torn apart," I answered.

"Well, keep this to yourself. It's not your secret to tell," Dale stated.

"Yes, sir," I answered.

I walked away, feeling like I had no clarity. I had to keep this from Carl, my best friend. We tell each other everything. He means so much to me. He's the only person I'll tell, then I won't say anything. I'll make sure he doesn't say anything. If he knew I kept something from him, he would never forgive me. The part about Lori being pregnant is something she should tell him; the barn is what I'm gonna tell him.

"Carl, can I talk to you?" I asked.

"Sure," he said.

We walked to the back of the house.

"Okay, there's two things you need to know, but one of them has to be said by your mom, so I can't tell you that. And don't ask her about it; she'll tell when she's ready. But there's something I can tell you," I explained.

"What is it?" he asked.

I looked around to see if anyone was listening. There wasn't.

So I leaned to his ear and whispered, "There are walkers in the barn. You can't say anything. I'm telling you because if I didn't and you knew that I knew about it, our friendship would've been on the rocks. I need to be honest with you. I'm not losing you again, gunshot or secret."

"I appreciate you telling me, but this is crazy,"  Carl responded.

"I know. But please trust me," I replied.

After a short pause, he sighed then answered, "I do."

We hugged and let it be.

Episode 7

Camp was extremely quiet and awkward. That is until Glenn told us about the walkers in the barn. When they investigated, we discussed what to do. Shane wanted them all dead while Rick wanted to talk to Hershel. When he found out Dale knew, Carl and I stepped forward.

"Rick, Lori, I knew too. I overheard Glenn tell Dale. It was my fault and I'm sorry, Dale, but I told Carl," I confessed.

Lori was beyond shocked and angry as she said, "Why would you tell him about this?"
