(A/N Change of plans you guys; since tonight's episode is the last episode with Carl, I'm going to write this one. I will miss you, Chandler Riggs and I know a lot of people will as well. ❤️😭.)

Episode 9

We gave our notes to Michonne and Rick then explained what happened with Sadik. We also told them that it was going to be okay.

Everything that happened ever since the hospital in Atlanta was a blessing and a curse all in one. The people we lost hurt my soul, but being with Carl was what kept me from fully breaking down into insanity. I felt so lucky to be with him and to get to this point with him. Live together, die together, continue to love.

They moved us to lay down. Sadik offered us a drink to help with the fever while Rick made small talk with him. Debris almost fell on us, but Rick protected us and gave us what Sadik gave him.

When they started talking about going to the Hilltop, I looked at Carl.

"I'm gonna miss this," I said.

"Me too. But we're still gonna have each other," he responded.

I smiled weakly as I lifted my hand to see my engagement ring. Whether I was still alive or close to death, I was still happy that I would be Mrs. Carl Grimes.

"I am the luckiest woman to have you in my life," I told him.

"It's the same for me," Carl responded.

We kissed and he held me close to his chest. I could feel his faint heart beat and he felt mine.

Then we talked to Michonne for a while until someone who helped Gabriel in the church came and said he wanted to marry us before we die. We agreed and everyone surrounded us. We did the vows, the "I Do's", the rings, and then we kissed.

Even though we were on the verge of death, this moment was so beautiful. I felt like we were "Romeo and Juliet" except we are from the same group and they were married long before they died.

Then we heard the Saviors left, but Rick wanted us to stay there with him instead of going to Hilltop. Daryl was going to take Judith there, so we said our goodbyes. We got to pass Carl's hat down to Judith, telling her how it helped us be as strong as Rick. Then we remembered when Lori told us we were going to beat this world before she died, but we couldn't. But we both knew Judith could. When she cried as Daryl took her away, I cried on Carl's shoulder as he held me close, releasing some tears of his own.

Sadik thanked us for giving him another chance and he was going to honor us through his actions and that meant so much to us. We let him know that he was officially a part of the group and when he left, Rick and Michonne laid us back down.

"Two out of three of my kids are dying and I don't know what I'm gonna do without them. One has kept me going since the day he was born and the other has since I met her in the same hospital," Rick replied.

"You've been an amazing father to me," Carl said.

"Same here. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have gotten to fall in love Carl more than I already did," I added.

They gave us some more of the drink and we told Michonne she had to be strong and we considered her our best friend.

Rick carried Carl and Michonne carried me to the remains of the church. They laid us down and we thanked them for getting us there, to this point in our lives. Then Carl confessed to what happened at the prison with the kid that lowered his gun and when he shot him. I remembered that: it looked so easy, but it wasn't necessary. But Rick saw how much we grew since this all started. Everything that happened made Carl and I who we are today. We wanted him to try to do what he did at the prison. Rick didn't think he could be who he was before, but we had faith in him and there has to be another way for this to end.

There was even a time when we had the same vision of everyone working together. It's a huge possibility it could happen. Rick told us everything he did was for us and nothing would change. He also said he would make what we saw real.

I wished we had more time so Carl and I could begin our married lives, but things happen. Carl got his gun and I got mine. Michonne and Rick cried, but we told them we loved them. We hugged them then they went outside. Carl and I looked at each other.

"I love you," I told him.

"I love you too," Carl told me.

Then we shot ourselves.

A/N I'm so not happy about Carl dying, so I had to have my OC die with him. Just plain and simple.
