Episode 1

We kept searching for a place to stay. We found an abandoned house, but Rick, Carl, Daryl, and T-Dog went inside first to check it out. We even had silencers on some of our guns, which was good. When it was clear, we went in. We've all changed while on the road: some of the men grew beards, everyone's hair grew a little longer, and Lori was over nine months pregnant. We sat in silence as some looked for food. Then we left because of walkers. We stopped in the middle of the road, discussing where to go. We ended up at a prison; sure it needed to be cleared of walkers, but that wasn't a problem. We were assigned where to go while Rick went to close the gate. I went with Carl and Hershel in one of the towers. We shot each walker one by one until the field was clear. We went inside and cheered how big this place was.

That night, most of us sat at a fire, eating one of Daryl's kills. Beth sang us a song called "Parting Glass". We relaxed as she sang and Maggie joined in. I let my head rest on Carl's shoulder while he rested his head on mine. Then Rick said to turn in because we have to clear out a section in the prison. He said how there was an infirmary, armory, I mean this place was packed with stuff that could last us for almost the rest of our lives.

The next morning, Rick, T-Dog, Glenn, Maggie, and Daryl went in back to back and killed walkers while we lured them towards us. Then they went inside.

"So what do you think is in there?" Carl asked.

"I don't know. My first time being in a prison," I joked.

Carl chuckled and added, "Same."

Finally, we went in and we moved in the cell block. I noticed how Rick and Lori weren't talking to each other; I wondered why. We were about to move in with Beth when Hershel walked in. We found our own cell and settled in. I took the bottom bunk while Carl took the top. He came down and sat beside me.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked.

"Sure," Carl said.

"Do you...have a thing for Beth?" I wondered.

"What? No. Sure, we smile at each other a lot, but we're just friends. Besides, I've already got my eye on someone; I'm just waiting for the right time to get together with her," Carl explained.

I couldn't help but smile at that and kiss his cheek. Then some of the group went to clear more of the prison. Carl was like our man in charge, which made me giggle because he acted all manly and tough. We just waited for the others to get back.

Episode 2

When they came back, Hershel was on a metal table with one of his legs gone. Turns out he was bitten on the leg and Rick cut his leg off. Lori sent for me and Carl to get towels. Plus, five prisoners, basically survivors, followed them. Rick told Glenn to be there for Maggie and Beth if Hershel died before he went to take care of the prisoners. We tended to Hershel best we could. He kept bleeding out so much we were running out of rags.

When they came back, they brought us food that looks like it could last us a while until we decided to plant crops in the field. They went back to get the prisoners a new cell block. Carl and I stayed in our cell.

"You wanna play 20 questions?" I asked.

"Are there some things I don't know about you yet?" Carl wondered.

"Yeah," I answered.

"We can play as we go find the infirmary," Carl suggested.

"Are you sure about that?" I replied.

"Yeah. It's for Hershel," Carl said.

"Okay," I responded.

We walked for a while with guns at the ready as we asked questions.

C- "Favorite color?"
J- "Red."
C- "Same."
J- "Favorite meal."
C- "Cheeseburger with everything on it."
J- "Mac 'n' Cheese."
C- "Job you wanted before the world went to hell?"
J- "Nurse."
C- "Cop."
J- "Like father like son."

We chuckled as we made it to the infirmary. We got the supplies we needed and headed back. We had to kill a couple of walkers but we made it. We got yelled at by Lori for going off on our own, but other than that, they were thankful for the supplies. Hershel had a close call with death until Lori gave him CPR. He jolted up and we thought he was a walker, so Carl and I had our guns ready. But luckily, he passed out and he was still alive. We told Rick when the others got back. We waited for a minute then he opened his eyes; we knew then that he was going to be okay. Rick and Lori went to talk on one of the bridges. Today was a really good day.

Episode 3

We still didn't know if Andrea was alive or dead. All we could do was hope that she was alive and found a nice group to stay for the time being. We hoped she was okay. It's been seven or eight months since the farm fell, so who knows what happened to her since then.

Episode 4

Rick, Daryl, T-Dog, and Carol took some cars out of the field inside the wall. They wanted Glenn and Maggie's help, and when they came out, well we know what happened in that guard tower the night before. The two remaining prisoners, Oscar and Axel, wanted to help and be a part of our group, but Rick didn't bat an eyelash at them. At least that was what I heard.

We gave Hershel some crutches and he was off like it was nothing. We walked with him.

"He's a natural," I said.

"Yeah, he's getting better. By the way, I've been thinking," Carl replied.

"That's dangerous," I joked.

"Haha, very funny. Anyway, when you told me that you wanted to be a nurse, I thought that if Hershel lives, he can teach you some medical stuff. We can wait though since he needs time to fully recover," Carl explained.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Thanks for thinking about me," I responded.

"I always do," Carl smiled.

He held my hand as we made it outside and everyone saw Hershel walking. But then walkers got in. Lori, Carl, Maggie, and I went inside, but we found more walkers and we ran like hell. As we kept going, Lori went into labor. She was about to give birth.

Carl and I had our guns ready and protected Maggie and Lori. We found an empty room and locked it. She gripped onto one of the chains and breathed heavily. Maggie removed her pants after she laid down. Then she got back up and pushed. Carl and I watched as she bled. She couldn't give birth naturally; it had to be a C-section. We laid her back down and she looked like she was dying. Lori knew that she was going to die and no one wanted to accept that. Lori told us to take care of Rick and the baby. She told us that she loved us and we promised to always do the right thing. We hugged her and cried. Carl gave Maggie the knife and she cut her open. Maggie looked and pulled the baby out. It was a baby girl. At first, she wasn't breathing but Maggie fixed her. Lori died and Carl put her down after Maggie and I left the room.

"I'll take her," I said.

"Thanks," she responded.

I held the baby as we went back outside. Rick saw us walk out and he was devastated Lori wasn't there. Rick wailed when he figured out what happened. We lost T-Dog too and Carol was nowhere to be found. But Lori was like a mother to me. I've lost two mothers in my life. It's not just hard on me, but on all of us. We also found out that one of the prisoners named Andrew brought the walkers in. That idiotic psychopath.
