13.) EVP Session

Scarlett's P.O.V

"Okay so this device that is in my hand is called a spirit box. Basically what it does is it searches through radio frequencies, staying on each channel for a half a second to make sure that there is no interference from the radio station. Because of the white noise if there are any spirit voices we will here them. If you're brother is here, we will find him." Holly said.

"Okay. Ashton and I are gonna leave for a few hours so that we don't contaminate anything. Just call me when you are ready for us to come back and participate." I said and she nodded.

Ashton and I went out to the car and just drove to his house for the next few hours. I turned on Ghost Adventure's so that I can watch how this spirit box thing works.

I wanna know if I will be able to pick his voice out when he speaks to me, if he does.

"Scar, if they don't find anything don't be upset. Okay? Maybe he want's only you to know if it's really as terrible as you made it seem to be." Ashton said and I nodded.

"I know Ash. I'm just hoping he doesn't hide from them if he can see how hard I am trying to contact him." I said and Ash smiled slightly before turning back to the TV.

After two and a half episodes my phone rang and Holly called me back to the house and she told me that she found somethings she wanted to show me. So I'm a little excited.

We pulled up to the house and Holly was standing on the porch with the spirit box still in hand.

"There you are Scarlett. I have some video to show you, an you are going to be very pleased with it." Holly said.

"She pulled up the video on the computer monitor in the back of their team van. It was  video of her in the night vision and she had Maxwell, the camera man, press play.

"Is there anybody here? Scarlett asked me to contact you." Holly said and I could here the spirit box making noise, but no voices yet.

"Michael, are you here?" She asked.

"Scarlett?" Michael's voice came through the spirit box and my hands flew up to cover my mouth.

"Yes Michael, Scarlett asked me to contact you. She wanted to know if you were still here with her." Holly said

"I'm here." Michael's voice came through again and I could feel tears in my eyes.

"Scarlett says you came to her and gave her a sign to look for something. You said you did something terrible before you died. What was it?" Holly asked.

"Closet." He said and that's where the video stopped.

"He said to check the closet in his room Scar. Let's go!" Ashton said and we ran into the house and up to his bedroom to see the closet door already open and a single box on the top shelf.

"What's that?" Ash asked as I began opening it.

"It's a box full of money! Why does Michael have this?" I asked as I dumped it on the floor and a piece of paper fell out. Ashton picked it up and looked at it.

"Dear Scar,

If you find this, it probably means he won. I want you to get this money to Mr. Avery at the pub in the middle of the city, you know the one. I have done a terrible thing Scar. I made a mistake. I did drugs and the paparazzi got photo's. I told him I would pay him fifty thousand if he didn't sell the photo to the tabloids. I didn't have the money on me so I stole it from Mr. Avery at the bar, right out of the safe under the counter. I told him I would pay it back, and I never got around to it because of tour. The first week of tour he told me if I didn't have the money in a week he would find me and kill me. And if you're reading this, he probably has. Please get this to him. I wanna know your safe and he doesn't come after you too. I'm sorry sis. I really am.

"He was murdered?" Holly asked from behind me.

"Holy shit...I need to get out of here."
