Barry's pov
Less than a day later the five of us climbed off of a bus into the business of New York City. Almost immediately, people were bumping into our shoulders.
"We should probably find a hotel for the night. We shouldn't be out late and we need to talk about finding Violet now that we're here," Jasper says, nervously looking around. Ever since this morning when we woke up and out pictures were on the television with missing persons written under it, we had all been extremely nervous. We can't get caught before we find Vi. If we do, then it's game over.
"Jasper's right. Let's go," Piper agrees, grabbing onto Carter's arm. I grab onto Cassidy and Jasper and the five of us walk towards the nearest hotel.

"So where do we start?" I question. We all turn to look at Piper. She grins and immediately launches into an explanation.
"I was hit with an idea last night, after you all had fallen asleep. People have pretty unique handwriting. I mean, you can get similar, but not exact. So I was googling pictures of New York City, not really sure what I was looking for. I guess I was just trying to familiarize myself with some of the landscape. That's when I came across this," she says, holding out a piece of paper with a picture printed on it. I scan the photo, my eyes widening when I see the handwriting on the sign a man was holding up.
"Piper, you are amazing," I yell, crushing her in a hug.
"No, it was complete luck," she replies. Carter smiles at her. Cassidy takes the picture from my hand.
"That store behind him, I've been there before. My dad took me there two years ago when we went to NYC for my birthday," Cass tells us.
"What do they sell there?" Jasper questions. We were all shocked at this bit of news. Cassidy might have met the man who kidnapped my sister before.
"It was just a bunch of tee shirts and souvenirs. I got a snow globe or something," she answers.
"We definitely have to go there tomorrow morning. Got it?" Carter asks. We all nod, feeling confident about finding Violet.

Blue's pov
"No group of five kids purchased bus tickets together," Marcus says, "but there was two groups of three. One of those three had kids that matched the pictures. Five teenagers bought tickets to San Francisco. The second set of three had similar features, but different colored hair." He holds up five different pictures, all from security cameras.
Sure enough, there they were. But Cassidy had bright pink hair, Carter and Piper had platinum blonde hair, Barry's hair was dark brown, and Jasper's formally dark hair was now blondish.
"We think they dyed their hair," Marcus states.
"No shit Sherlock. What gave it away?" Michael asks, his sarcasm showing. The boys frown at him. Officer Marcus huffs and walks away.
"What was that for Michael?" Calum questions.
"I just wanted him to go away. He doesn't do anything to help," he answers. I don't say anything, but think about his words.
