Barry's pov
"You seem oddly gloomy for someone who is going to be reunited with his parents after a long time," Casey states, sitting down beside me. Jasper was seated on my other side.
"I'm not gloomy," I deny. Both of my best friends give me a look. I sigh in defeat.
"What's wrong buddy?" Jasper asks me.
"I don't know," I admit, sighing, "I just don't know if I'm really ready to face my parents yet. Or Ashton, Michael, or Luke."
"And why not?" Cassidy questions.
"Because literally every single one of them is going to be pissed off at me," I elaborate, "I'm the one who convinced all of you guys to sneak out in the middle of the night and travel across the country, trying to find Violet."
"No one made us go with you, Bear. We all chose to go. If our parents get pissed at you, we'll just defend you. Or ignore our parents for a while," Cassidy promises.
I smile, "Thanks guys."
"No problem, Barry. Now let's go outside with the other. Our parents will be getting here pretty soon," Jasper reminds me. I nod, knowing just how excited he was to see his dad again. Cassidy offers me her hand, which I take, and the three of us exit the stinky hotel room, rejoining Piper, Carter and Violet.
"Hey big brother," Violet greets, walking over to me. Jasper had already gone over to Carter. Piper and Cassidy were standing over to the side, talking and laughing.
"How are you doing, Vi? Are you ready to go home?" I ask, throwing my arm around my little sister's shoulders.
"Am I ever? I've missed mum and dad so much. And my bed. I've missed my bed so, so much," Violet informs me. I laugh and hug her tightly.
"So uh, you and Cassidy, huh?" Violet questions, smirking. My cheeks heat up.
"Ha! I knew it! I knew you two would end up together!" She screeches.
"Violet, shut your cakehole," I fuss, trying to get my face to stop burning. She snickers.
"Michael is going to kill you for dating his daughter. Even more so if you two ever break up," she rambles.
"Hey Vi, remember what I told you a minute ago?" I ask.
"What?" She questions.
"I told you to shut your cakehole!" I exclaim.
"Will you two stop arguing already. Not even Michael is stupid enough to mess with Barry since he knows Blue will go after him. Stop harassing Barry, Violet," Piper says. Cassidy giggles.
"But it's so much fun to harass him. After all, what else are little sisters for?" Violet teases.
"It's a ton of fun," I mumble sarcastically.
"Hey you guys," Carter calls, interrupting our conversation.
"What's up, Carter?" Cassidy questions.
"They're here," he states, pointing. All six off us turn and look at the rental cars driving up. One with dad at the wheel, the other with Ashton driving.
