~Kat's P.O.V~

His mood swings have been getting worse lately, for what reason, I was clearly unknown of. But he's been more than a beast, then more of a human lately, which kind of makes since, I mean, he is dead afterall, and walking around like a hollow shell without his soul. 

I remember being back at home, in the states. I was obsessed with vampire movies and shows, I wasn't really obsessed with the shows themselves, but from the monsters for which they were being told, and the romance and lust that followed. I remembered I wanted to be like Buffy, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. My best friend showed me the show, and I became instantly obsessed. 

I fell in love with the idea of the thought of other creatures living in the seemingly "normal" world around us. Just lurking in the shadows, avoiding being seen by the humans. The beasts were both good and bad, just as humans were. But I remember also being intrigued by the romance that Buffy and Angel shared between themselves. 

Angel was a vampire, one that had been watching Buffy for basically her whole life, but he was different from the rest of the vampires, this one actually had a soul. Buffy tried countless times to try to destroy him, because in her eyes, all vampires were bad, no matter how good they acted. But, she couldn't help but develop a romantic relationship with the man. Being devoured by lust, she craved to be near him, to feel him. 

As the story goes on, Angel looses his soul a couple times, which Buffy obviously goes into a panic, because she knows she had to kill him. Even though he became a monster, you could still see in these little hints that he loved her. No matter how much evil had consumed him. 

After being relieved. Buffy and Angel go back into being in a relationship, and they actually share a romantic encounter one night. But little did they know that he was put under a curse. That if they were ever to share an encounter like that with her again, he would loose his soul for good. 

He ended up loosing it, and Buffy stabbed him in a heart with a wooden steak. Sending him straight to hell. But, even then he managed to come back, but not so much as the vampire he once was. 

I couldn't help but imagine, try to piece together, that maybe Harry was somewhat like this? Maybe some of the facts, and stories that were told in those shows and movies were actually true. Now, granted this isn't like Twilight, Harry doesn't drink the blood of just animals, and he doesn't try to blend into society, let alone go to high school. And we didn't have the romantic relationship that Edward and Bella had. No where near actually.

Harry was darker, and more confusing for me to grasp the idea of who he was. I knew he didn't have a soul, but sometimes, I couldn't help but see some of the light in him, that maybe he actually did. 

And I liked those moments with him, those were actually the best moments I've had since I came here to the UK. But, when he would snap back into that beast. It was the darkest moments I have ever encountered. And absolutely dreaded. Sometimes, those were the times I wanted to kill myself. I figured I'd be better off dead, then live with him for the rest of my small, and pathetic life. 

But then he'd just go right back to being that sweet, and some what adorable Harry, and he'd make me forget all about my suicidal thoughts. 

It's been a couple months since first coming to this dreaded castle. That's right, months. The area around us was now covered in a thick blanket of white. Ice crystals now clung to the twigs of the dead trees, making them white and sparkle. And the occasional fog would invade, and vanish the whole area together.
