~Kat's P.O.V~

This morning I got up earlier than usual, the sun was barley peaking over the mountain tops as I got changed in my normal clothes, enjoying the feeling of being able to move freely without having to deal with another damn corset or dress.

Fixing my curls to their right positions over my shoulders, I stepped out of my room and made my way down the corridor to the kitchen area to pour myself some water to take it back to the washroom, when I got stopped as usual, by a certain boy.

"What else have I missed out on?" He asked. I furrowed my eyebrows as I turned around.

"What do you mean?" I asked

He took a couple steps closer to me, keeping his eyes down before he looked back up at me.

"You know what I mean. The world. What's all out there now that I don't know about?"

I sighed and looked to the side before looking back at him. "There's so many things. I wouldn't even know where to begin."

He took another step closer, and looked back into my eyes. "We have time. "

He looked at me, like some kind of lost, and confused little boy. I knew I had to tell him, but,  seems like he would've picked something up with him going into town, and hunting humans on occasion.

I was never the best person to explain things. It was like I could easily explain in my head, but not so much when I tried to let the words flow freely from my lips. It was like I was always tongue tied. I hated it, and made me feel stupid. That's why even while growing up, I tried to keep my mouth shut when talking to people. I didn't want to come off like I wasn't worthy to talk to, so I just shut up.

I sighed and grabbed his hand as I lead him back to the living room. And I sat him down right next to me. "I might just make it sound more complicated then what it already is." I said.

He looked at me, then spoke, "I think I can keep up."

I smiled and thought of where I could possibly begin. I tried with electricity, cars, planes, everything, but it made him more confused the more I spoke.

"I wish I could just show you instead of just telling you. It would make so much more sense. I can't explain shit." I started to get frustrated with myself, I couldn't stand it.

He grabbed my hand and made me look in his eyes, setting his fingers under my chin to make me look at him. "Then show me." He spoke lightly.

"What do you mean?" I asked him. "I can't just show you from the inside of this castle. I'd have to show you first hand."

"Then take me. To town?"

My eyebrows furrowed more. "Can you take it? I mean, you're going to be surrounded by people, filled with the one thing you crave."

"I'll be fine." He replied.

"What if you lose control, once you do that, you don't even want me to be around you."
