He froze my throat felt raw and ragged and I felt more blood coming at the back of my throat . He turned to my eyes the size of saucers , every one looked like that I swallowed and grimaced .
" Stop ," my voice was barely there it hurt to swallow .
" S-she she spoke ," Xander just stood there wide eyed and tense . Everyone stared at me like I grew a second head , I get that it was strange since I haven't spoken since I got here but it was with good reason , I was terrified any one would be .
" Baby , baby what ? Tell me whatever it is i'll get it or do it for you baby ," Xander was crouched down in front of me his beautiful green eyes were pleading with me to answer him
" Water ," I started choking and coughing he shot up and went to another room and came back with a cup of water .
I could bearly sit up I let the nurses touch me without much compliant and I let Xander help me drink the water down because my hands were shaking so bad I couldn't hold it on my own . I could tell he was relieved that I was cooperating and letting him touch me , it felt like tingles and sparks throughout my whole body whenever he touched me , it made me want to shiver and lean closer to him , my wolf was purring in my mind and if I wasn't so scared I would rest my head on his broad shoulder .
" Good girl drink until its all gone , that's it baby ," all the while I drank he was cooing me and and rubbing small circles into the palms of my hands .
" Sweetheart I'm sorry I didn't mean -" I wiped my mouth
" It's ok mom you didn't mean too I know you didn't your intentions were pure ," Xander gently wiped my face , I let him I could tell he wouldn't hurt me but I was still really nervous around him and I was terrified of anyone else that came near
" Hey sweetie , how are you baby ?" Xander took my hand gently I flinched but didn't pull away , he could tell I was trying and that seemed to make him happy .
" Hurts ," my voice broke , it sounded like I was gargling nails
" What hurts baby ? Tell me what hurts baby ?" I pointed to my throat .
" Your throat hurts baby ?" I nodded winced at the pain in my head .
" Mom can you get her some tea ?" his mom smiled at me
" Of course I can sweetheart , i'll be right back ," she left
I just stared at the white door , my head was swimming my body felt numb and hyper aware all at the same time it made my head spin more .
" Does any thing else hurt baby ?" I tore my gaze away from the door and looked at my mate his eyes were only filled with love and concern and it made me want to cry he didn't even know me , but if he did he would hate me just like everyone else .
" My chest ," he instantly looked worried and he looked down at my bandaged chest which was now exposed but I really didn't mind .
" We'll amp up your pain medication alright baby we'll have them do that for you if you want ?" I nodded slowly , I was uncomfortable with this kind of care and attention , it was foreign to me and it made me nervous .
" Is there anything else baby any thing else hurt you ?" I shook my head and looked away , everyone in my pack hated me making eye contact with them for long , they said that my face was too ugly to look at so that I had to turn away or I would become black and blue all over again . Xander hesitantly took my chin and turned my face towards them , I hated to admit it but I loved his eyes , they were beautiful they were bright vibrant and alive and not just one color of green ... there were lighter and darker flecks in them too but they were just as bright . I could stare at them all day , I could get lost in those beautiful green orbs and I wouldn't even mind .
" Don't you dare look away baby , I do t want you to look away from me , I don't want you to ever be afraid of me baby I would never hurt you ," my eyes widened and he looked at me expectantly and I swallowed and looked down nervously.
" I never got your name ?" I looked back at him and swallowed
" Rosie , my name is Rosie ,"
