Chapter 17

(Mathew's POV ( Rosie's father) )

Hollow, that's how I felt, the moment I read that note my heart shattered, my baby girl my princess my Rosie was gone and it was all my fault. Rosie was my only girl left, I loved her more than anything but every time I looked at her I saw her mother, the love of my life and it makes my heart twist and it makes my blood boil. My wolf hates the fact that she looks like our mate and he takes his anger out on her, but the father side of me wanted to hold my princess close and never let her go begging her to forgive me.

" Oh my sweet little girl, daddy's so sorry," my wolf David was howling even through his pain of the loss of our mate he still loved Rosie as much as I did. We sent out search parties but after hours of searching we just came up empty. They said they found a trail of her blood but it just ended, when I heard they found a pool of her blood I had felt sick to my stomach.

' What have we done ?' David whimpered in my head, I put my head in my hands my heart felt like it was made of lead.

' We lost our little girl we lost our baby we lost our little princess and it was all our fault ,' He whimpered louder.

Then Alex walked in he looked like the walking dead like he hasn't slept in days, he had blue black bags under his eyes and his hair was disheveled.

" Has there been anything ? A location a scent something ?" I shook my head and I watched as my son sag into the couch looking even worse, his eyes glassed over with unsigned tears. I know he's been sleeping in Rosie's bed I hear him cry himself to sleep, this was all my fault.

" What have we done dad ?" he looked at me the tears now flowing down his cheeks, I could only look away.

" I don't know son .... I don't know,"
