Chapter nine: What am I going to tell mom?

Jaimie POV

I was still standing there just staring in his unbelievably blue eyes when he finally spoke. It was cute because he looked more nervous than I probably felt.

"Hello, I'm Josh, the future Alpha." He smiled at me, and as if that was going to win me over just by his looks. I'm going to make him work for it.

Just as I was going to reply to his introduction Jake comes back. Finally, but at the wrong time!

"It looks like Alpha Drake is busy, and future Alpha Josh is nowhere to be-Oh, hey Alpha Josh."

"Pack Warrior Jake. Are these the two girls you were talking about? Alex, her dad is an alpha of the pack we have a treaty and been trading with. Jaimie here, is my mate." He stated while wrapping his arms around me.

I immediately blushed. Oh shit, what am I going to tell my mother? She'll just think I'm making it up unless I shift on Christmas...which is tomorrow...oh fuck.

Josh POV

I found her! I'm so happy! I could kill a rogue in one bite....I'm that happy. She will be my life. It's definitely a good thing we moved here. Although, this one preppy bitch named Skyler keeps trying to get with me. I wonder if Jaimie knows her. I'll have to ask her later. The only reason I know she goes to our school is the fact that a pack member named Brandon talked to her. She has a heart of gold!

'Oh, shut up. You sound like a fangirl when they've first met a famous person.' My wolf nagged me.

I rolled my eyes at him. He's always nagging me. Sometimes he's worse than my mother.

'Hey!' He protested.

My wolf's name is Darrin. He can sometimes be a wee bit aggressive and angry...ok he's like that a lot. However, he's a good friend when I need one. I'm lucky he picked up my mate's scent. I nearly missed it. She smells like one of those old-fashioned fudge stores downtown, but she doesn't make me hungry like those stores do. I look down at her and then back to Jake.

"Tell my father that I have found her, and that she is my literal blessing from the Moon Goddess." I chuckle.

I also made her chuckle too. She's so adorable. I wonder if she'll be the best Luna she could be. The problem is though, she can't move in yet which makes my wolf howl in pain. She is mine and only mine and I think she knows it too. I'm happy that she is beautiful both inside and out. Those green eyes, and that blond hair. Just wow. It's difficult to explain. I need to kiss those beautiful lips, however, I think she is going to make me work for it and I will try my very hardest to show her she is mine.

"So, is there a possibility that I could get a kiss?" I whisper into her ear.

"Hmm, depends. How old are you? I don't turn fifteen for another couple of months." She simply stated.

Damn, she has nerve. I wonder where she gets that from? I sigh knowing I'm not getting one just yet, and I answer her question.

"I just turned fifteen, and my father said once I find my mate he'll make me alpha. So, when's your birthday?"

"February 14th, which is Valentine's Day."

Damn, but not too far away. I chuckle.

"So what do I get as a belated birthday present?" I asked.

'Not what you're hoping for.' Darrin mocked.

"Depends. How good are you at volleyball?"

Volleyball. What does that have to do with anything?

'Think lover boy.'

Oh, she wants to see me shirtless, and I'll possibly see her in a skimpy outfit.

"I can be as good as you want me to be." I added with a wink.

"Well, once I introduce you to my mother then we may go the beach and play."
