Jaimie POV
*buzz, buzz, buzz* That's the sound of an alarm clock going off. I groaned. Why the hell is it going off?
"Make that thing stop before I either chuck it out a window or take your balls off with a dull spoon, feed it to alligators, and. put you in a small box that slowly fills up with water." I whine.
Josh only chuckled. I rolled over to look at him. He returned my gaze.
"What the hell are you laughing at? I don't like mornings! What teenager in their right mind likes mornings!" I complain at him.
"Well, we have to get ready for school. Come on sleepy head. Do you want to try to make breakfast or should I?" He chuckles.
I glare at him and get out of bed. I mumble to myself about how boys are so difficult at times. He just laughs at my reaction. I head to the bathroom with some clothes and do what I need to do. (I'm not into the whole explain what I like to do in there.) However, while I was in there I put on music from my iPod touch and was glad when "Face Down" from The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus came on. I sang/danced along until it was over. I got done pretty much when the song ended. I don't take long to get ready in the mornings.
Now, I know, you're probably thinking that I put on make up but it's not really me unless it's a special, I'm bored, or just feel like putting it on. Which doesn't occur an awful lot. However, today I decided why not. I put some eye shadow on and my favorite blue eyeliner. It makes my eyes go from a green to more of sight blue. It all depends on what I'm wearing and what not.
Anyways, after I wrestled the make up on I came out and saw Josh shirtless. Don't get me wrong, I've seen him shirtless before, but I always stare because it's so hard to ignore the temptation! And the fact he has a sixteen pack. He works out a lot. I go with him a lot of the times, it just depends on how I feel. I think we're going to go after school and other stuff. I'm always excited to go. I love doing stuff like that and I'm on the Junior Varsity basketball team, so it'll help with my shooting.
He always catches me because I always stare longer than I probably should. He laughs almost all of the times when I do stare.
"Are you going to stand there, or are you going to kiss your mate good morning?" He says in that deep sexy voice he knows I love.
I give him a playful glare before I walk over and peck his lips. Today I feel like playing hard to get. He tries to make the peck turn into something else but I pulled away and giggled. He playfully growled at me and tried again to only be denied.
"Jaimie, don't you dare. If you continue, you'll be punished after the gym." He winked knowing that I'd get it.
I rolled my eyes at him until I got out of his grip and ran downstairs before he could try anything else. I'm an evil person today. All of the girls at school today that look at Josh in a seductive way will have to watch out. I won't be kind to them. As I ran down to the kitchen I look behind me, and sure enough Josh is starting to come down. He's only speed walking so I'm guessing he's lazy in the morning.
I made it into the kitchen, and I grabbed a bowl and some Lucky Charms. I poured it into my bowl and ate it. Most people put milk in their cereal but I don't generally like it that way. I know, I'm weird. I try my hardest. I'm on my last few spoonfuls when Josh finally makes it to me. I look at him and he just stares at me. I give him a sheepish smile.
"I love you." I say while trying not to laugh, but not successful.
"Yeah sure. I hope you know you're going to get it tonight."
"That's if you can catch me," I tease.
"Don't tempt me. I will always catch you Jaimie, and you know it." He adds a wink in at the end.
Josh grabs an Apple and then his school stuff. I do the same. We head out to his car and, like the gentleman that he is, opens my door for me. I plop into the Camaro and put my school stuff on the floor. Josh gets in on the other side and starts the engine. I smile at him.
"So, what classes do you have, and what lunch?" I ask, hoping to know more about him.
"All A.P. classes and first lunch like you." He simply states.
"Wow, you may as well be in college," I tease.
"Yeah, well so should you. I've overheard your teachers talking about you. They always say what a bright student you and Alex are. So, I think they're going to move you up a grade." He explains.
I nod. "Well, we'll find out today I guess. If they do, I hope we have the same classes."

After going to my locker, I head to homeroom. I take a seat and wait for the teacher to come in and for the announcements to come on. Looking around, and I see a lot of people from my pack. Hope has been quiet these past few days, and that scares me. So, while I'm bored, I decided to ask what a wrong.
'Hope, are you alive?'
'Duh, things just feel off lately. It's like someone is watching us and waiting for us to shift.' She explains.
'Ok, should I notify Josh or..'
I was cut off when Alex came and sat next to me. She looks like she's been crying. I immediately get pissed. I didn't get a chance to ask her because just then the bell rang and the teacher came in. She went to start handing out schedules. Alex and I were last for some reason because the teachers called us to her.
"Now, we normally don't do this, but we've decided to make you sophomores. You both always pass with flying colors so, the school board thought you needed more challenges."
That cheered Alex right up. We both thanked the teacher and began comparing schedules. Turns out we have the same exact classes. Alex told me that we have the same class as our mates because they both have the same schedule as us. We laugh and talk about our Christmas break. Turns out I wasn't the only one with a weird break...
