Jaimie POV
Being surrounded by really hot and shirtless guys was not my idea...I got in a fighting stance. Anyone touches Alex and their going to meet a not so happy teenager. They head of the group was just standing there, looking at us. He startled both Alex and I when he spoke.
"Now, can you please tell me what you do when you find two human girls in the woods?" It's like we're not even there. I'm not exactly human anymore either...but if he can't smell it then I'm good! One kid raised her hand. "Yes?"
"You leave them be and don't follow them?" It sounded more like a question than an answer.
"Yes, but you also have to check and see if there are any uh, things that shouldn't be here." Alright, this is too much. I'm right here. I cleared my throat.
"Um, thanks for this freaky lesson, but who are you and what are you doing here?" I raised an eyebrow for effect.
"I was just teaching these children how to be wise in the woods," he stated as if it was obvious.
"Not buying it. If you were human, you wouldn't have been able to hear my footsteps that were a good fifty feet away. That's why you dragged them here." He sighed at my comment.
"Ok fine, you wanna be stupid, be stupid. Who's your cute friend?" Oh, now he notices Alex. I look back at her.
"Jaim, he's creeping me out..." She trailed off after that. I gave him a death glare.
'Oh no he didn't. Nobody talks to Alex like that AT ALL! Let me through. I need to say something about his comment.'
'No, I don't wanna blow my cover. He can't smell the wolf, so why ruin it?' I asked a little impatient.
'He says one more thing to her and I'm coming out.'
'Good luck.' Then I blocked her out.
The head person just looked at me weird. He must've said something to the group because they just walked away. However, before he left he looked at Alex and smiled. He then walked up to her.
"I'm Jake. You are?" I growled at him and he looked back at me in shock. I couldn't fight off Hope anymore and she let him know.
"You say anything, do anything, or think about her and you'll regret that. Now, be a good little dog and go find your owner," Hope snapped.
'Damn, and I thought I had attitude!' I laughed at her.
'No one messes with our friend,' She snapped.
'I know. He got the warning. Let me back in control.'
'Fine.' Hope huffed.
Jake POV
I found this really cute girl, but she wasn't my mate...at least I think she wasn't my mate. However, I couldn't be sure because we never locked eyes. That girl was really protective of her friend.
'If we come across them again, and she gets in the way make her move.' My wolf said in that stupid 'duh' tone.
'I'll try, but no promises. Did you see the way her friend was protective over her? She growled, and she didn't even smell like a werewolf.'
My wolf huffed, 'You're right, it makes no sense. Unless...'
This caught my attention. ''Unless' what?'
'Unless she's like us. The Moon Goddess gave out more blessings than we thought.'
This shocked me. I'm not the only one? Are there more out there? So many questions are racing through my mind at the moment, and I have no idea what I'm going to do.
