Jaimie POV
I had to shield my eyes with my hands...er paws I mean from the blinding silver light. I knew exactly what that meant. I probably pissed her off. I whimpered slightly and bowed in submission.
The light died down. Standing there was the Moon Goddess herself in her full glory. Just like the first time I saw her, however, there was more than just anger on here eyes. Was it regret maybe?
"Jonathan and Blake! I told you to introduce yourselves at her school! NOT FREAKING KIDNAP HER!" She yelled.
Boy was she pissed. I quickly shifted back and bowed.
"My lady, it's a pleasure to see you again, and if I have failed yo-"
She cut me off by a wave of her hand. I just stood there looking like an awkward potato.
"Jaimie, you have not failed me. However, you must release Skyler because she was brainwashed. If I may, I'd like to speak with the child."
I nod my head yes. "Of course my lady. Right this way."
I started walking to the cells, and Josh was in hot pursuit shortly afterwards. He soon caught up with us as did those boys who I'm assuming are Jonathan and Blake. We soon arrive at the cells and I unlock the one with Skyler in it for the Moon Goddess. I bow in respect.
She acknowledges me and continues in with caution. She then kneels down to see Skyler face to face.
"Child, who told you of my blessings?"
So she's questioning her. Nice to know.
"My family," she spat.
The Moon Goddess didn't take that too kindly, but shrugged it off.
"Why would your family tell you about this? I have watched over them! and they brain wash each generation. Your family is the reason as to why I must save my race of wolves. I can help you. If not, you are doomed to be here until you die."
"Not a chance in hell. Why would I want your help? You were never there for my family. They deserve the Blessing more than that piece of scum!" She pointed at me.
The Moon Goddess gave me a look saying that I should talk to her about why she hates me.
"Skyler, why do you hate me? I've done nothing wrong to you before." I said while approaching.
"You did nothing wrong? You're delusional! Everyone loved you without you having to try! You never even looked my way! You took most of the boys I was after away! Now it's my turn!"
I decided it would be time to try my 'Luna' voice. "That's because you never came and talked to me. Most of them left after they figured out that they weren't going to get what they wanted. Why does your family tell you this crap?!"
She flinches, "Because even though we are rich, we never get what we deserve! Throughout life we've had worse challenges than you!'
By now its an all out shouting match.
"What's your challenges? Not having enough caviar for the morning? Not being able to find that 'perfect' outfit? My challenges were finding ways to eat, to survive! Dealing with an abusive father!"
I was about to continue, but the Moon Goddess waves me off saying its enough. I turn around and cry into Josh's chest. I just said something I really didn't want to say. Especially not in front of Josh. He didn't need to know about this. He just rubbed my back soothingly and whispered comforting things in my ears.
"Skyler, I have watched your family for hundreds of years, and not once was there really a struggle. You were raised a hunter, and for that, you shall be punished for it."

Sorry if its short, but hey, it's an update! Please tell me how it's going and predict what will happen at the next chapter! I'm thinking of ending the book there and then starting the sequel...but just tell my your opinions and stuff like that. Also, please take a look at my new book I'm An Elemental Werewolf and tell me how it is so far!
