Jaimie POV

I could tell Josh was surprised when I said "father". He hadn't been expecting him to come to our house. I didn't even know he knew I lived with Josh...let alone knew where we vacationed.

"How did you know I was here," I kindly asked.

However, on the inside I hoped he would be hit by a truck. He doesn't quite understand the concept of my sister or I wanting to see his violent ass.

"Your wolf has been feeling restless and felt like you are being watched right? Yeah, well, that would be me."

Josh growled.

"You've been stalking my mate?!" He spoke with such venom it scared me.

"Not stalking, checking up on my daughter secretly." He tried "clearing up".

"That would be called stalking." I said in a 'duh' voice.

"Please tell me you two aren't mates because this will make it so much easier."

I looked at my father with furrowed brows. He can't possibly be up to something. If it involves me leaving Josh he can burn in hell.

"Well, we are. Suck it up and good bye." I said trying to hint to him that he should go.

"You just made this ten times worse for not only you, but for your boy toy over there."

I balled my hands up into fists and clenched my teeth. Josh is not my boy toy. Hope is really itching to come forward now.

'Just let me knock him out! That'll teach him not to disrespect our mate like that!'

'Hope, I've got this. I plan on punching him, and when I do, you can help put force into it OK?'

She huffed. 'Fine.'

'Good.'

I turned my attention back to my lame excuse of a father. I could tell he was up to something. He always was. It sickens me to think of how a vile person can still be alive today.

"You remember when we were looking for a place to live and 'found' property in the middle of the woods deserted?"

"Yes." I say hesitantly.

"Yeah, well that belonged to my werewolf friend who happened to be an alpha. He made a deal with me that said that if I handed my youngest or only daughter to him for his son to get married, he would let us live there. I agreed because I didn't think you would have a mate much less get the Blessing that I often heard come from family members. So, if you would as kindly come with me, we can get this whole thing going! If not, your little boy toy will die. Alpha Joseph will see to it and will make you go with him."

I looked at Josh in a state of shock, and next thing I know, some warriors are here, and I feel my hands clench even more to the point that they start to bleed.

How could he just give me away before I can even begin my life? What kind of cold-hearted person would do such a thing?! I unfortunately already knew the answers to those questions. He is my father and he just doesn't care about anyone but himself.

I felt my legs walk towards him against my will, which surprised Josh. My father's face brightened when he thought I was giving in. However, Hope had other ideas in mind.

"Great! Let's go pick out your wedding dress an-"

I punched him in his face. I couldn't stand the thought of not marrying Josh. Having someone else try to make me smile against my will like Josh. It just couldn't happen.

I felt myself punch him again and again. Each blow harder and harder. It felt like I was in a daze. He fell to the ground where I managed to get on his stomach and keep punching him. It took Josh, and all of the warriors to get me off of him. By this point, I'm still swinging and now I've started to cry.

"Shh, Jaimie, its OK. He's not coming I promise. I'll keep that from ever happening, OK?"

"No, he isn't taking us away from what is ours. He is not to make anyone lay a hand on you or attempt to kill you. You are ours and we are yours," Hope spoke for me.

I was surprised that I hadn't even noticed that she had taken over. However, I didn't blame her. No one is going to separate us. That includes whoever this Alpha Joseph is.

After a while, I had finally calmed down. The warriors were helping my father up and I got a good look at what my fists had done. He had a broken nose, and a very bloody face. I couldn't believe that I could have done something that bad.

"I hope you know you just declared war on one of the largest packs around here. He will be the first of many to die."

My father implied that Josh would be first. Hell to the no. Not going to happen.

"If its war you want, then its war you get." Josh spoke. Each word was dripping with hate.

"One more thing, go to hell and never come back."

With that, I fainted. Blackness was for once, a wonderful thing. I was glad that I couldn't see my father anymore, His face disgusted me since he was a cruel man.

As I lay in darkness I see the familiar silver light of the Moon Goddess. I was confused as to why she was visiting me now, but I knew I shouldn't question her.

"My dear Jaimie, this war might bring an end to all werewolves everywhere, if you and your Blessed wolves cannot win this. Alpha Joseph's ancestors did something very similar in the past. It almost put an end to the supernatural world. I haven't a clue as to what is going to come of this war. Only that if Joseph wins, he will be unbeatable. I will try to send you help, but I cannot promise. One last thing before I leave you, Skyler has escaped and I fear she may have teamed up with your father and Joseph in hopes of getting your wolf. Be prepared and keep Josh within your sight."

I nodded. I was scared even more now knowing that Skyler has escaped. I shivered at the thought of what she might do now.

"My lady, are there more out there? People like me I mean."

The Moon Goddess smiled and replied, "Yes. There are still more to be found. There are some who had the Blessing, but someone took it away and gave it to someone else who was not deserving. It is not of my doing of course."

"Are you saying that's what Skyler is planning?"

She shook her head. "Its took difficult to tell now. I just hope it doesn't come to that. I must go now. Remember what I have told you."

"Wait! I still have more questions!"

It was too late. She had already left. I drift deeper into my own subconsciousness and try soak in the information I had just learned.
