Chapter thirteen: Danger!

Alex POV

I was shocked. How could Jake be my mate along with Will, the Beta of Alpha Josh's pack. I guess my wolf would know.

'Um, excuse me, how can I have two mates?' I raised an eyebrow at her.

'You can't. Jake isn't yours...although it feels like he should be. I didn't feel sparks though. Will is ours lets just focus on him. He's so hot! I want to be marked just by thinking of him!'

I rolled my eyes at Ashley. Why did I have to get a horny wolf?

'You want to be marked too so don't judge me!' She complained.

I sighed. She was right. However, now I'm getting worried. Jake isn't my mate...he may end up trying to mate with me anyways. I'm going to have to tell my father that I've found him though, and then Will is going to be Alpha of the Silver Moon pack. I'm going to miss Jaimie though. Maybe we can see each other and have parties together a lot...

Jaimie POV

My first day at the pack house has been interesting. I met Josh's father, Alpha Drake, and soon Josh will be the Alpha of the Silver Creek Pack. I met some other pack members and they were really cool. Will's sister is really nice. We've quickly become friends in a matter of hours. I learned she's into all the same bands as me, and loves to read some of the same books I have. Her name is Ava and she's fifteen. We're in the same grade because her birthday is in February, like mine.

Josh got done with his pack stuff in about an hour, and he finished showing me around the four-story pack house. Damn, he's got money. I'm just happy that I've got a really strong person as my mate though. I was snapped out of my thoughts when Josh spoke.

"Want to go out to dinner tonight with Will and Alex?" He asked.

"Of course! She may as well be my second sister!" I said excitedly.

He chuckled. We walked back to our room hand in hand. I felt my phone vibrate, and went to check it. It was a text from mom.

"Oh great," I mumbled.

Josh chuckled. I read the text and it said:

Mom:
I better not be a grandmother yet. Remember, I only bug you because I care.

Josh must've read it because he was laughing. We made it back to our room and he was still laughing. I glare at him and slap his arm playfully.

"Ow!" He complains.

"Well, that's what you get!" I say laughing.

He grumbles while opening the door. I laugh at him as I enter the room. Next thing I know I'm looking at him in the eyes. I swear, if he wasn't holding me I'd die looking at those unique blue eyes. The color is hard to explain to anyone. He's just staring at me and then I realize what he wants to do. I wiggle out of his grasp, grab some clothes real quick and head for the shower.

"You're gonna get it when you're done!" I hear him say through the door before I turn on the shower.

I laugh at him, he thinks he can do whatever with me...nope. You have to earn it. I like torturing him like that. I hop out of the shower, get dressed, and prepare to run, when I hear a knock on the door. This confused the shit out of me. Wouldn't he just come in?

"Jaimie, we just got a message. Pack Warrior Jack is gone and we believe he's taken your family." He said worried.

I rush into the room. He looks concerned, like legit concerned. He comes up to me and hugs me even though I'm wet. I look up at him to see if there are any signs of him lying.

"Are you serious?! Why my family?! I didn't do anything to him!" I exclaim.

"Baby, calm down, we're going to find them. I've notified Will incase he tries to get to Alex too. Let's go to dinner with them and then figure this out afterwards. Ok?" He said calmly.

I sniffed his shirt, because his scent calms me down more than other wolves. Hope is extremely pissed off though. She's like me, don't mess with my family.
