*Selena's POV*

We pulled up to a little deli before getting out and holding hands. We went in and ordered our food and decided to sit outside, because it was such a beautiful day out.

We sat at the table waiting for the food while Justin played on his phone and I admired my new shinny ring that I had fallen so in love with.

"I think we should tell our parents before they read it in some magazine," I said looking up at Justin, who was still playing on his phone.

"Huh? Uh yeah okay," he said not even looking up from him phone.

"What are you doing on your phone?" I asked reaching towards his phone to grab it.

"Whoa, no." He pulled back his phone before I could touch it, "I'm just on Twitter."

Okay now things were really getting weird. Justin, in the past, had never been weird about letting me see his phone. We were always very open about everything. Ever since we bumped into Kate, Justin's evil ex-girlfriend he had been acting all weird and now he was hiding his phone from me.

What if Kate said something to Justin after I left? What if she was blackmailing him? Or what if she told him she still loved him?

My thoughts were broken away when the lady came and brought us our food. We thanked her before she went back inside to keep working.

"So...," I stated trying to get him to talk to me, maybe even confess.

"What?" he asked looking at me after putting his phone in his pocket.

"Crazy running into Kate huh?"

"Sel, I know you don't like her. We don't have to talk about her," he gave me a gentle smile and reached across the table holding my hand. That right there, was the Justin I knew and loved. Suddenly, all the thoughts I had about Kate disappeared. She was in the past and I wasn't going to worry about that now.

"Emma, calm down. We're getting you food," I heard a voice in the distance speak.

I hit my free hand against my face, "You have got to be kidding me."

Did she have some kind of GPS tracker on us now or something? I hope this wasn't going to be an everyday thing.

Justin pulled his hand away from mine and stood up in the direction of the voice, "Kate over here. Come sit with us."

What was he doing? "Justin, shut up and sit down!" I said sternly to him, but it was too late. Kate strolled over to our table with that fake smile on her lips and her daughter on her hip, "Fancy meeting you here. What's the likelihood of running into each other two times in one day?"

"A million to one. What are you even doing here? Can you even afford this place?" I bit back bitterly. I wanted her to leave us alone, for good. I was already so tired of her annoying voice and her fake attitude.

"Sel, that was rude," Justin said glaring at me.

"I'm ready to leave." If she wasn't going to leave than I was. I couldn't spend another minute around her.

"We haven't even eaten plus I don't want to go home yet, " he stated.

I took the keys out of his pocket before walking away, "Then find your own way home. Don't know if I'll be there or not." And I stormed off to the car not bothering to look back.

*Justin's POV*

"I'm sorry about her. I don't know what got into her," I said to Kate apologizing for Selena's rude behavior.

"It's fine," Kate said in an understanding tone.
"I know how she is. I get it."

I reached and pulled my phone out of my pocket and texted Sel.

We got to talk. That was unacceptable. I'll see you when I get home.

I sat back down at the table and Kate sat with me. "Its been forever, What's new?"

She looked over at her daughter, "Well I obviously I had a daughter but other than that not too much."

"What's her name?" I asked glancing over at her.

"Emma."

"How old is she?"

"Almost 3," she stated looking over to me again.

"Are you still acting?" I asked.

Back when Kate and I dated on and off she was an aspiring actress. I hadn't seen her on TV or in any movies lately so I wondered if she had given up.

"I took a break from acting to take care of Emma. She a full time job, plus it's what I love doing. I don't want to miss a minute of her growing up."

Suddenly, my phone buzzed causing the table to shake. I looked at it seeing I had a text.

One new iMessage: Babe <3 (:

I opened the message quickly reading it.

Nothing to talk about. I won't be home when you get there. And don't look for me.

I sighed and texted her back.

Sel, you're being ridiculous. I'm calling a cab now. I'll be home in 30. You better be there. We are talking this out.

"Hey Kate, Sel is really going through a lot right now and needs me so I got to go but we should take a rain check. I'll text you," I said getting up and giving her a hug before getting up and getting a cab.

I had a lot of time to think on my way home from the deli. I understood why Selena was so upset but she may have taken it to the extreme. So what if Kate was my ex? That didn't mean we couldn't be friends. I didn't see what the big deal was. It wasn't like Kate was stealing me away from Selena. I mean she was still my baby. She was the one I was getting married to. The one I was going to spend the rest of my days with.

I got out of the cab noticing that all of our cars were still here which was a good sign. Here goes nothing I said to myself as I opened the front door.
