*Selena's POV*

I groaned as I woke up feeling someone draw on my arm.

"Good morning," he said softly with a smile perched upon his face.

"Has it stopped raining?" I asked sitting up pulling the sheets up to my bare chest.

He chucked, "No, not yet."

I couldn't help but wonder why he was laughing. Was ther something I was missing? What was so funny about the fact that all of L.A. was flooding? "Why are you laughing?"

He licked his lips clearing his face of the laughter. "I was just thinking about last night. It's a good thing I got the room sound proofed when we moved in."

I covered my face with the covers before he could see the heat rising to my cheeks.

"Babe, there is nothing to be embarrassed about. We are a happy adult couple in love, who really, really missed each other," he said. I could just picture him winking which caused me to roll my eyes.

"You are not helping jay."

After a few more minutes of talking we finally got up and decided to check on Taylor, Ed, and Emma.

I got dressed and reached for the doorknob before Justin stopped me.

"You might want to fix your hair a bit. Taylor and Ed might suspect something if you know what I mean," he said with a laugh.

I ran off to the bathroom, which was lit by a bunch of candles due to the lack of power in town. I grabbed the brush off my side of the bathroom counter and ran it through my hair a few times, before grabbing a hair tie. I pulled my hair up into a quick messy bun. I checked myself in the mirror making sure everything else looked okay.

"What would you guys like to eat for lunch?" I said with a smile on my face.

"Well, what is there left?" Justin said sitting on one of the barstools next to Taylor, who was sitting next to Ed.

"Well, it looked like there is cereal. But no milk. We also have soup. But no way to heat it. We have uncooked noodles, melted ice cream, and moldy bread," I said slumping my shoulders in defeat. "What are we going to eat? There's nothing left. God only knows how long it's going to keep raining and frankly, I'm getting Cabin Fever," I practically shouted towards Justin.

He looked at me taken back by what I had just done. I didn't care though. It was true. I couldn't handle another day in the house. I was tired of eating reject food. I needed to go do something and eat some real food.

"Sel, it's okay. We'll find something," Justin said trying to calm me down.

I huffed and rolled my eyes. I turned and stomped out of the kitchen heading up to my bedroom. I needed to get away and be alone for a minute.

*Justin's POV*

That was weird. One moment Selena was on top of the world and the next she was yelling at me like I could control the rain. Trust me, if I could, I would have turned it off a LONG time ago.

We were all getting tired of being cooped up in the house. Sure it was big, but it did get boring after a few days. The fact that we were running out of edible food, didn't help the case at all.

I looked over at Taylor and Ed with an apologetic look. "I'm sorry about that. She gets cranky when she doesn't eat. I don't know what's gotten into her."

Taylor smiled back, "We understand. We all have moments like that. I'll go check on her."

I thanked her before she walked away.

I let out a big sigh and ran my hand through my hair, "Women."

Ed let out a laughed nodding in agreement, "Can't live with them. Can't live without them."

"You can say that again," I said with a breathy laugh.

For the few days we had been here, Ed and I had hardly talked. It's not that we didn't like each other per say. It was that we really didn't have anything to talk about. So, as a result, we mostly just sat in awkward silences when the girls would leave to do whatever it is that girls do.

"Daddy!!" Emma yelled running to the kitchen.

I turned on the stool to look at her. "What is it babe?"

"Why is Selly crying?" she asked tilting her head.

*Selena's POV*

"I just can't handle this anymore!" I said to Taylor grabbing my head in my hands.

"Selena, you need to calm down. Getting yourself worked up won't fix anything."

I felt tears roll down my face as Taylor pulled me into one of her famous hugs. She rubbed my back, trying her best to calm me down.

I don't know what was wrong with me but I was all over the place these last few days. I would go from being perfectly happy to crying to pissed off in a matter of minutes.

"Do you think, I don't know, maybe you could be pregnant?" she said after she pulled away.

I laughed, "Pregnant? Yeah, right. There's no way. I'm on birth control."

I wiped my tears away as she gave me a look. "You know sometimes birth control fails. It's a possibly."

"No. Justin and I are waiting to have kids. There's no way," I said shaking my head repeatedly.

"There's no harm in taking a test," she said shrugging her shoulders.

"Well, it's not like we can go get on. The roads are flooded and it's pouring."

"Then we wait," she said giving me a sympathetic look.

Just then, we heard a knock on the door and Justin popped his head into the room. "Is everything okay in here? Emma said she heard you crying, she was concerned."

I gave him my best fake smile, "We were just talking. I was just having Cabin Fever. It got overwhelming, so I cried it out. I'm okay now. Thanks to Taylor," I said giving her a look that told her to keep her mouth shut about what we had just talked about.

She gave me a small nod and a smile. She mouthed 'Your secret is safe with me.'
