Broken Pieces Part 50

*Justin's POV*

A little before eight, I pulled with to the medium sized urban house just outside of L.A. Twist, Alfredo and I all look at each other before nodding and getting out of the car.

We walked up the short foot path to Kate's door. It was a simple, L.A style house. It wasn't too big due to the lack of Kate's fame, but it was enough for her to get by while she had Emma.

I knocked on the door before taking a step back waiting until we heard the clacking of heels come. Kate opened the door wearing a small fire red dress and black heels. She looked amazing.

In that moment, I forgot all about how Selena and I were fighting. I forgot about Selena all together. I even forgot about the boys standing behind me. It was just me and Kate.

She gave me a warm smile and walked into my arms hugging me tight. It wasn't until I heard the clearing of someone's throat that we broke apart and realized we weren't alone.

"Come on in," she said as she stepped to the side, gesturing for us to enter. "The other girls are almost done getting ready. They should be down any minute."

"Bro, this is a bad idea," Fredo whispered to me as we sat in the living room waiting for the other girls.

"This place is amazing!" Kate said as she gridded on me, drink in hand.

We had been dancing together all night. However, we kept it as innocent as you could in a club.

"I'm going to get another drink, do you want one?" I yelled over the music into her ear. She shook her head and continued to dance.

I came back to find her dancing with another guy. He had is hands all over her. Places that not even my hands should have been considering I was with someone else.

I walked over to them and quickly shoved him away from her stepping in front of Kate protectively.

"Is there a problem?" The guy asked buffing up as best he could.

I let out a cold laugh. "Yeah, you're dancing with my girl. I swear, if I ever catch you touching her like that again, I will rip your ball off and feed them to you, got it?" I snarled at him.

Kate reached over and pressed her hand on my chest, "Justin, it's okay. It meant nothing. Let's get out of here."

I nodded and let her lead me out of the club. We grabbed a cab and went back to the house.

As we arrived at the house the alcohol we had been drinking was started to take a toll on us. We stumbled up the pathway and walked into the house. As soon as we got inside Kate pressed her warm lips to mine.

This time I didn't fight back. I picked her up and carried up to the bedroom.

*Selena's POV*

I sat huddled on the sofa all by myself all night. I hoped that any minute, Justin would walk through those door and we would make up like we always did after a fight.

But he never came. Eventually, I gave up on the idea and drug myself to bed.

I wasn't mad at him anymore. Honestly, I couldn't even remember why we were fighting in the first place. It all seemed so silly and unimportant now.

I laid in bed with my phone in my hands. A million times I came close to calling him, but I didn't want to ruin his guys night out.

I finally gave up and called him. I knew that he wouldn't answer and I was okay with that. I'm sure he had his phone on vibrate with whatever they were doing.

I listened as it ran before I heard his voice, "Hello?" He said.

"Justin, I'm so glad you answered!" I said relieved.

"Yeah, yeah," He said.

"Justin are you okay?" I asked as he began laughing.

"I bet you fell for it huh? Leave a message at the beep," He said before the well-known beep went off.

I sighed every time I called him I always fell for that stupid voicemail of his.

I hung up the phone and decided it would just be best to text him.

Hey, I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I miss you. Text me when you are coming home. I'll be waiting. I love you.

I stayed up all night watching the bedroom door expecting him to come stumbling in but once again he didn't.
