*Justin's POV*

"Are you ready for this?" Selena asked calling from up the stairs.

"You know, now that I think about it, maybe this isn't a good idea."

"Daddy!" Emma whined.

"Justin, seriously? It's fine. We even put on the stupid helmets like you asked. It's a mattress how much can it hurt?"

I bit my lip and sighed, "Fine, but be careful and hold onto Emma tight."

"Justin, we're fine. Calm down. Ready?"

"Not really but go 'head."

"On the count of three. One...two...THREE!" the girls yelled together letting the mattress slid down the stairs.

Afraid of what might happened, I shut my eyes tight.

"Oh my gosh! That was so much fun!" Emma and Selena yelled in sync, bursting into laughter.

I peeked my eye open. "No one's hurt?" I asked worried.

"Daddy, we're fine. You have to try it daddy!" Emma said as she laughed up a storm.

"I don't think so," I said still a bit worried.

"Justin, come on. We will go together. I'll keep you safe," she said with a cheesy smile plastered on her face.

"I'm not scared of doing it. I just don't want anyone hurt," I explained.

"Emma, do you smell that? It smells like... a chicken," she said rising an eyebrow in my direction.

"A chicken? You are calling me a chicken?" I shook my head. "You really shouldn't have done that. I'll prove I'm not a chicken," I said stomping over to where the mattress laid on the ground. I picked it up turning it so I could carry it up the stairs.

Once I had made it to the top, I set the mattress down and held the railing to stop me from going. I said a quite prayer as I let the rail go before I could regret it.

"OW!!!!" I yelled holding my head in my hands.

Selena and Emma rushed over to wear I was lying on the mattress.

"Oh my, Justin, are you okay?" Selena knelt next to me trying to help me the best she could.

I laughed loudly, "SIKE!! That's what you get for calling me a chicken!"

She narrowed her eyes at me and slapped my head gently, "You jerk! I thought you cracked your head open! You could have given me a heart attack."

I laughed and shrugged my shoulders, "Sorry babe, but you shouldn't have called me a chicken. I told you, you shouldn't have done that."

She laughed and rolled her eyes. "Okay next order of business. Emma what do you think about building a fort? Out of the whole living room!"

I turned to see Emma eyes widened and she began nodding her head up and down and jumping around.

"I'll go grab the blankets!" I yelled giving the girls a kiss on the head before running back up the stairs to the linen closet.

*Selena's POV*

Once I made sure that Justin was out of sight, I leaned over to Emma and whispered, "We have to get pay back."

"What can we do?" she asked.

"Well, I was thinking we could silly string him but we don't have any," I said trying hard to think.

"I know! We can use whipped cream instead!" Emma exclaimed.

"That's perfect! You are a little genius. This is why I love you!" I said kissing the top of her head.

She looked at me taken back, "You love me?"

I felt a pull at my heart and I nodded, "Of course I do, like you were my own daughter. If I ever had a daughter, I would want her to be just like you. If my daughter was half as great as you are then I would be one of the luckiest people ever."

She smiled and hugged me, "I love you too, Selena."

"Let's get your father back. You go get the whipped cream cans out of the fridge and I'll distract him okay? Don't go until I give you the signal. The signal will be... me scratching my head. Go."

Just in time, Justin came strolling down the stairs with a ton of blankets in his arms. He threw them on the floor and front of me with a smile on his face.

"Um, Jay can I talk to you? It's kind of important."

He looked at me confused and nodded.

"I didn't want to tell you this before cause you were under so much stress and with the whole break up thing then Emma but now I feel like we are in a good place. There's something I need to tell you," I said biting my bottom lip.

"Sel, you're kind of scaring me," he said with a nervous twitch in his eye.

"Justin, I'm pregnant."

His eyes grew 3 times wider and his jaw practically dropped to the floor.

I shrugged my shoulder giving a faint smile and nonchalantly scratched my head, giving Emma the signal.

Before Justin could have time to react Emma popped out spraying him with a fully loaded can of whipped cream.

He turned his shocked face to me, "This was a set up. You little rat."

I shrugged my shoulder. "Sorry babe," I said in a mocking tone giving him a wink.

He laughed and shook his head. "Just to clarify, you're not pregnant right?"

I laughed and shook my head, "No, everything good. I'm not pregnant."

"WHEW! THANK GOD! I have to admit that was a good one. You guys got me good. But do you know what that means?" he asked rising an brow, "You guys better watch your back and sleep with one eye open. Cause payback is coming and you know that they say. Payback as bi-" he stopped himself remembering his little girl in the room. "A brat. Payback is a brat."

I let out a loud laugh. "Oh yeah? Just remember and eye for and eye makes the whole world blind," I said with another seductive wink before running off before he could catch me.
