*Selena's POV*

"Surprise," I said in a small voice.

"You're pregnant?" he asked staring at me.

I nodded my head slowly.

A smile fell onto his face and he pulled me close to him. "Oh baby, that's wonderful!"

"You're not mad?" I asked after he pulled away.

"Mad? How could I be mad? I have the prefect girl, the perfect daughter, the perfect life and now the most perfect little baby. Of course I'm not mad," he said as he smiled wide.

I let out a sigh of relief. Honestly, I had no idea how Justin was going to take the news. We had always talked about waiting to have kids so I'm sure after what had happened last time it came as an even bigger shock.

"I get a baby brother or sister?" Emma asked as her mouth hung open.

I smiled and nodded, "Yeah Emma, you do."

She stood up and began running around yelling happily. Justin and I laughed together as we watched her playing.

After a while Justin laid his hand on my still flat stomach and began talking to the little baby that was now inside of me.

"Hi baby. This is your daddy," Justin said. "I'm going to love you so much. I'll always be here for you. We are going to take such good care of you. You are going to be the luckiest, happiest baby ever."

I smiled and lay on the blanket listening to Justin talk to the baby for quite some time.

"Babe, we should go. The sun is probably not good for you or for the baby," Justin said as he helped pull me into the sitting position.

I didn't feel like fighting with Justin so I decided that it would be best to do what he said.

"Come on, Emma," I called out to here. "It's time to go home."

She began to pout but quickly put a smile back on her face when I told her that I would take her swimming when we got back to the house.

When we arrived at the house she ran up the stairs to throw on her bathing suit. Justin and I laughed as we took out time to go upstairs and get dressed.

Of course Justin finished before me so he blew up Emma's floaties while I finished up.

"Are you ready? Are you ready yet?" Emma yelled through the door repeatedly.

I looked over at Justin and he rolled his eyes playfully and got up sliding out the door to control our excited 3 year old.

I quickly tied my hair up and grabbed a few towels out of the bathroom before rushing down the stairs careful not to fall.

*Justin's POV*

"Jay, I think it's time we teach her to swim," Selena said to me as she sat on the edge of the pool with her feet dangling in the water.

Sure, it was only the beginning of March but it really didn't get all that cold here.

"Well, she needs her mother in order to learn," I said to Selena trying to lure her in the pool with us.

She began to stand up and walk towards the back door of the house.

"Where are you going?" I called confused.

"I'm calling Kate," Selena stated.

"Selena Marie, you know good and well I was talking about you not Kate."

She sighed and made her way back over to the pool getting on this time around. I grabbed her waist to stop her from running out when I could tell that the water was cold to her.

Once she got adapted to the water we had a lot of fun. All three of us began to splash each other and of course, like always, the girls ganged up on me causing me to lose the battle.

I was really excited that Selena was pregnant and I hoped more than anything it was a boy. Someone I could throw a baseball with and throw a football with. Someone I could play basketball with and teach him how to play hockey. Someone in the house to finally be on my side when we all get into cute little fight and someone to watch sports with on Sunday when the girls were upstairs taking a nap.

It made me happy to think about my future with Selena, because when though things with her weren't spontaneous it was simple with her. I didn't have to put on the touch guy act with her.

"Emmy are you ready to learn to swim?" Selena said making Emma squeal and clap in excitement.

For a three year old, Emma was very advanced. She knew and did things that a five year old would normally do. She had very good grammar and when she spoke it was loud and clear.

I pulled Emma over to me giving her a kiss before I pulled the floaties off her arm.

She looked at me a little frightened, "But daddy, what it I drown?"

I looked at her with loving eyes, "Emmaleigh I can't believe that you would even ask that. I will never ever let you drown."

She nodded and listened to Selena's instruction as I held her up under her stomach until she got the motion of it. After she was confident that she had it down I removed my hand but still hovered close in case of danger.

She swam all the way over to where Selena was before we all erupted into cheers.

"Oh Emma, we are so so proud of you," Selena said as she held her in her arms.

"Do you think that I can teach the new baby to swim?" She asked innocently.

I laughed and nodded, "Sure when he or she gets older you can help teach him or her to swim."

She smiled proudly.

We played for a little while long before my phone went off on the table. I grabbed a towel and wiped off my feet before grabbing my phone and taking it inside.

"Hello?" I asked without bothering to look at the caller I.D.

"Justin, it's me," Kate said.

Usually she wouldn't call but I didn't feel like playing 20 questions.

"Kate! We taught Emma to swim. She looks so cute," I said smiling as I watched the girls play in the water through the window in the kitchen.

"Justin, that's great. But uh.. we need to talk," she said ignoring my comment about Emma.

"I think it can wait until we switch Emma off of Friday. I have to go," I said.

"Happy birthday," she said in a whisper before I hung up the phone.
