Hey there!  Just a reminder: I have stopped writing chapters for this book months ago,  so if you find changes in the voices of the characters and  find them a bit more 'matured', it is because I have practiced writing and changed my writing style here and there.

But also,  they are still the same with the same old crazy antics and romantic mishaps so,  please read on!

Cheating.

In the past few days that I have been able to do nothing because of my leg.

No one had been able to keep me company since all of them have their jobs and studies to tend to, though sometimes, Nathalia and Eric would often give me a call to check if I was okay and not bored.

As for most of the time, I was by myself. With my phone and laptop, also the internet.

After countless clicks on any various websites, a certain click on a random video had introduced me to the best thing after having the piece of metal in my leg — the wonders of the korean drama world. Since then, I have explored the world of countless korean dramas and instantly became hooked after watching one episode after the other.

I stumbled upon one drama that was currently airing, and was about the husband who caught his wife in the act of cheating on him through a text. I got hooked on how the story depicted how much it hurt to be betrayed by someone you love or someone you entered into a commitment with, like in a marriage; it must have felt like the foundation you have built with trust and love had just crumbled into pieces.

"Next time on My wife has an affair..."

"Come on, man!" I complained.

I laid on my stomach with my legs propped on the pillows, and kept my eyes glued to the laptop screen as the preview for the next episode rolled on. The past episode has got me on the edge of my seat as the husband was waiting at the restaurant to check if his wife and the other person in the affair would come, (and they did) but in this episode, it just got me questioning my trust with other people (that was when the wife was caught at the moment of dating another man), are they willing to betray someone so much for love?

I scrolled down to check when the next episode would air, and I could not help but let out a grunt after seeing that it would be up next week!

I narrowed my eyes as I closed my laptop and slowly rolled and laid on my back. My eyes were starting to hurt and I felt my stomach grumble.

I haven't eaten since lunch!

Trying to set aside the thoughts of hunger, I stared at the ceiling. The images of what happened the other night replayed like a filmstrip in my mind.

I could think of many reasons as to why I should not be hurt because of the fact that he was starting to date again, and I could also figure out why it hurt.

I closed my eyes and bit my inner lips and forced myself to stop thinking about it. I rolled to my side and grabbed my blanket.

There was nothing absolutely wrong if Piper and Royce dated again for they were free to do so even if there were hearts being hurt in the process.

It was not considered cheating in any way, since there was no me in their relationship anyway.

Or maybe I was just too hungry.

I let out a grunt, hastily sat up and got off the bed, resulting into dizziness due to my quick movements. As I stood, I felt a sharp pain running from my leg upwards that made me wince.
