Maul was having an interesting conversation with Ezra. The boy had asked Maul what his people were like, so Maul explained Dathomirian culture to Ezra. "The females, Nightsisters, were the dominant ones on our planet. When they are ready for a mate, they go to the Nightbrother's village and pick a make who is worthy enough to serve them. Thus how I came to be." Maul said. Ezra was looking at Maul strangely, "So basically the Nightsisters pick the coolest and hottest dudes, have cute baby Dathomirians, then ditch the father of the cute Dathomirians and leave him with their son, if they had a son that is." Ezra summed up. Maul nodded, "Basically, yes, I was different though. My mother was the the leader of the witches, so she raised me herself for awhile. Then Sidious came and took me to be trained as his apprentice, and I never had the chance to find a mate, male or female, sometimes it doesn't matter, males can give birth if they are lucky enough to." Maul said. Ezra looked liked he was thinking this over, "That means you can get a dude pregnant?" Ezra asked. Maul sighed and nodded. Ezra continued to look mystified. Maul decided to put a pause on that conversation, "So my apprentice, would you like to play Dejarik instead of talking about how curious my culture is?" Maul asked. Ezra had the decency to look embarrassed. I hope he does learn not to ask about my people very much. I'm all of what's left of them, and I barely know of my own people's traditions. I'm an utter mess of a Nightbrother, Maul thought. The Zabrak's holographic Mantellian Savrips attacked Ezra's Monnok. Maul won Dejarik, but Ezra had put up a good fight, He isn't bad at strategy. Perhaps I could teach him how to use that instead of him acting impulsively, Maul thought. The Zabrak bade goodnight to the young human, after five more rounds of Dejarik.

Dejarik is the game they played in A New Hope by the way, and accidentally turned it on in The Force Awakens. Until next time!
