Ezra sat, motionless on his bed. Maul had promised to make him feel better but so far it was not working. The Zabrak had tried about everything to make the human feel better, but hadn't quite tried everything yet. Ezra pulled Mr. Snugglesworth closer to his chest and wiped away his tears with his hand. Did Kanan only want me part of the crew because of my powers? Wait...it was Hera who got me to join, she's the only who really cared about me back then; Sabine warmed up to me...not really, she died my hair pink for a day! That ended my crush on her, hope she doesn't try to come kill Maul or me because he took over Mandalore or something... Ezra thought. Maul walked in with a steaming bowl in his gloved hands. The Zabrak sat down next to Ezra, "When I felt...uh...bad in the Clone War...my brother, Savage, made this soup for me. He said it always made him better... Perhaps it would help you?" He asked the boy. Ezra shrugged, Maul passed him the warm bowl, the soup was a yellow color with chunks of meet in it and there was no spoon. The human glanced at Maul and the Zabrak shrugged, "I don't have any, just drink it." The boy took a small sip and was awarded in a delicious warm taste of the meat. "Huh, that actually tasted pretty good. No offense Maul, but sometimes the food you make tastes kind of...horrible." The Zabrak huffed and folded his arms across his chest. "At least you pretend, you like it." He murmured, "Unlike some beings!" Ezra thought better to ask what he meant and went back to drinking the soup. Maul watched him the whole time, it was kind of weird, but the Zabrak was weird as well. That thought still didn't put Ezra completely at ease. Once he finished, he immediately passed out with exhaustion. Maul looked at him carefully, "I forgot Savage always drugged it to make me fall asleep so I'd stop talking about revenge... Oops." The Zabrak walked gathered Ezra's dirty clothes and walked out of the room. The room stunk terribly from the clothes and Maul would fix that problem before the boy woke up.
