Ezra and Maul were running. The day had started off as normal enough, then Maul had spotted a crate full of Meiloorun fruit. Everything went downhill from there. The Empire was right on their heels as they ran for the ship. The human and the Zabrak had landed on Lothal to fuel up and get more supplies. Ezra had forgotten to mention Thrawn to Maul. Those two actually have surprisingly a lot in common, two very smart nonhuman dudes? I'm surprised they hadn't heard of each other yet, Ezra thought. AT-STs were right behind them, as were Troopers on speeders, Ezra and Maul were outnumbered. They were finally cornered on the street, backed up against the wall. The Stormtroopers approached them with caution, they sort of recognized Ezra but they didn't know who the red Zabrak was. Maul snarled as they approached, Ezra knew he wouldn't back down without a fight. But the sudden shot of a blaster disarmed the human, Stormtroopers ran up, cuffed him and pointed their blasters at his head. Kallus walked up with a smug smile, "Rebel, I recommend you put that lightsaber down or the Bridger boy will be killed." Maul muttered something unintelligible under his breath as he handed Kallus his saber. Two more Troopers ran over and cuffed him. The ride back to their base was boring, Maul looked like he was planning something the whole way though. The human and the Zabrak were led to a cell. We're probably going to be interrogated by Kallus or Pryce. Hope they don't do any torture, that kind of hurts, Ezra thought. But no, they weren't lucky enough to get Kallus or Pryce, they got the Chiss himself. "Ezra Bridger. The boy who had his parents taken away from him at such a young age. You have my condolences, I was sorry to here about your parents they would have been very useful alive." Thrawn said. Ezra glared at the Grand Admiral as he turned his head to Maul. "And who might you be? Normally the Rebels I've encountered had a past with them, but you are quite the shadow. No past and no future. Tell me, why are you with the Bridger boy?" Maul looked up at him, "It seems Grand Admiral that you're asking too many questions for you health. I recommend you let us go before you have some...trouble." Thrawn chuckled. "Perhaps. But it's clear you are not a normal Zabrak. Red skin and unique tattoos, a Nightbrother I would say. Very rare. Your species is supposed to be extinct and yet here you are. Curious very curious." Thrawn said. "Guards, bring him and the boy to my office. I would like to ask them questions in a less...hostile environment." The Chiss walked away. Ezra and Maul were pushed down the hall, presumably to Thrawn's office.

Well...they're in trouble. And honestly I think Maul and Thrawn would get along if they were on the same side. Thrawn is very smart, but so is Maul. Feedback is appreciated. Until the next update my friends!
