Maul grinned as Ezra tried to talk. The poor boy has been trying to speak for the last hour, unsuccessfully. The human's throat must have raw if he couldn't speak, Maul has been looking through his storage trying to find something that could help his apprentice. When he didn't find anything to help the boy, Maul decided the best medicine would be to keep Ezra comfortable and with company, and the boy simply thrived with the attention, he was getting away with being spoiled like a bandit. Ezra had requested warm Bantha milk, Bantha milk was blue so you could never tell if it spoiled or not. It remained Maul of Ezra. Blue, warm and spoiled rotten? Definitely Ezra. After Ezra tried to talk and failed, master and appreciate snuggled up on the couch watching Maul's collection of Mandalorian movies. Maul had gotten the collection from going through the former duchess Satine things on Mandalore back in the Clone Wars, most of the movies had romance and were totally overrated. Ezra agreed with Maul from what the Zabrak could tell at Ezra's inability to speak. Ezra had a fever and looked like he was going to puke, but insisted on watching the movies with Maul, who was happy his apprentice wanted to suffer through the movie they were currently watching. The movie was about a Twi'lek woman (who was barely wearing any clothes, so Maul had to cover Ezra's eyes during half of it) who fell in love with her boss, apparently a stoic man who respected the Jedi and swore off attachments. Maul found the whole thing very cliche, and he thought Ezra did too, until the Zabrak realized Ezra was crying when the Twi'lek died. He cried, "She just wanted to l-love him!" Maul was not sure how to react to that.
Comments are loved. I'm pretty sure Bantha milk is blue, that's what my book says. Until thy next chapter my friends!
