Rilaya- She doesn't like me at all

Chapter 18- Sorry sir??

Hey guys here's another short chapter. Since my last one was fairly short too and I went a really long time without posting after chapter 16, I'll be posting a big chapter tomorrow for y'all ...look out for it 😜

'Well that's a suspension for you miss Matthews and did...'
'Wait sir!...' Rileys thought process suddenly kicked in. 'You're suspending me for...being late' Riley smirked a little towards Maya's direction silently loving the reaction from the blonde.

Her head shot up so fast and a large smile spread across her face at the principles dumbfounded expression. She knew exactly what her girl was doing.

'What?' The principle urged for some clarification of her question.
'I was...I AM apologising for being late sir. I am honestly intrigued as to what has happened to you but I'm afraid I'm not saying sorry as I was not the cause of it' everyone in the class mumbled to eachother but not Maya... Maya just sat staring happily at Riley. Before whispering to herself 'that's my girl'

'Then how?... where were you two then?! Can you answer me that!' He raised his voice a little. Maya's happy expression fades out and not only to make sure no one in the class had seen her weakness but also to stare daggers at the man who tried to be mean to her honey.

'Sir... I'm sorry I thought you knew' Riley knew exactly what to say know she had rehearsed it in her head and now it came naturally to her 'I was with my father... mr Matthews' she decided to point out.

'Can he bear witness to this' the principle tried.

'Well sir that's the thing he was unconscious we was at the nurses office... uhhh Maya helped me get him there' Riley added.

'Unconscious... yes yes I'm aware I received an email' he nodded partly accepting the inevitable. She was innocent.

'So you are also aware that we were the ones who took him to the nurse and I...we' she looked at Maya 'wanted to make sure he was ok before coming to class'

'Oh...' the principle wiped his damped face 'well I'm sorry for accusing you ms Matthews ...I completely understand' Riley smiled

'It's okay sir but umm... don't you think you should get cleaned up' a few snickers could be heard from the class and Maya chuckled to herself aswell.

'Don't push it ms Matthews!'

'Sorry sir' she looked down aware that she had weaved her way out of trouble and did not want to weave back into it.

'Right! Well!' He addressed the entire class 'I'm going to change and hunt down the culprit to this' he looked down at himself 'then EXPEL then!' He yelled 'let this be a lesson' he backed out of the classroom just as the sub wandered in a little confused as to what he had just witnessed.
