I knew this could only go two ways. Either I would be completely mislead, or I would end up punching Hailey in the face.

Probably the latter.

Somehow I managed to force Cole not to come up with me. I appreciated that he didn't want anything to happen and just wanted to look out for me, but I needed to do this on my own.

I had no idea what floor or room Hailey was staying in, until I bribed the doorman with a twenty to tell me. Floor 15 room 1534.

The whole way up the elevator I was trying to mentally prepare myself for what was about happen. For what I would say. I had no idea what I was getting myself into.

I got off the elevator once it reached the fifteenth floor. I walked down the hall near the end until I was stopped in front of her door. I waited a few moments before deciding I would remain calm and I knocked on her door lightly.

A few moments later the door swings open to reveal the one and only.

Her dirty blonde hair was perfectly curled down to her waist and she was holding a coffee mug in her left hand, holding the door open with her right. It was harder for me to hate her when she looked this naturally gorgeous.

"Hello Hailey"

I see her face glower as the smile fades from her face.

She doesn't say anything and she simply opens the door wider giving me space to come inside, so I do.

She shuts the door behind me and walks over to the couch across the room and takes a seat.

She places her mug onto the table and let's out a sigh.

"Okay,"

She says

"Let's hear it"

I look at her in confusion before walking towards the direction of the couch.

"What?"

She shakes her head and let's out a small laugh.

"I'm pretty sure you didn't come here to be besties. So let's hear it, tell me how much of a terrible person I am."

I take a seat on the couch directly across from her so that we are both seated.

"I didn't come here to yell at you Hailey"

She looks surprised as she takes one last sip from her mug before placing it on the coffee table that's between us.

"If I came to let out anger a lot more damage would be done by now"

She sighs and repositions herself on the couch so that her leg is tucked under her.

"So then why did you come? If I may ask"

I run my fingers down my hair and try to remain calm.

"For answers."

She opens her mouth to speak but I quickly interrupt her.

"I want to know everything. The whole story. The true story. I want to know what went down with you and Wes and why it ended and what brought you to kiss him when you knew we were dating"

I let out.

She nods her head slowly.

"Fair enough."

She gets up from her seat.

"Would you like a drink? This may take a while."

She stands up and proceeds to the kitchen without awaiting my answer. She returns with a bottle and two glasses.
