Chapter 4

Ario walked down the hallway toward his lover. Even if the ground was made of earth his footsteps echoed off the walls. Living underground like a mole nearly made him blind when he comes out into the light.

He gets to the room and slowly opens the door to his wife's room that she was given once she was hit with a sudden flu. Ario looks at his wife as she laid asleep on a large bed. Shutting the door behind him. Hoping to see some little movement in his wife's bones.

Seeing how she laid unconscious on the sick bed. Her skin was a sickly pale. The windows were covered for she didn't like the sunlight. She was covered with violet covers. His wife, Patrisha moaned lowly. Her moan made Ario smile. Knowing that she was still alive and she was fighting the illness.

He slowly walks to her. Being as silent as he could.

Now in front of his wife's bed. Ario knelt down to his knees and grabbed her hand. Feeling how cold she was. Very little life was in her veins.

"Ario. . ."

Ario looks up to see his wife awake. Patrisha stared at him with sleepy looking eyes. The whites of her eyes were red. While her irises were a light green.

Reaching up, Ario brushed his fingers on his lover's cheek. Brushing against a scar that a wolf has given her. "Thank god you're awake. You've been asleep for so many months." Ario said with softness in his voice. He gives Patrisha a kind smile.

"Where's our son? Is he alright?" Patrisha asked weakly. Her eyes full of fear. Ario looks down at the floor. Not loving the speak of their son. "We are doing everything we can to revive He-Lush-Ka. Slade is still with those wolves." Ario said the last sentence in hatred. Not loving that his youngest son betrayed him after his older brother's death.

Resting her hand on Ario's shoulder. Patrisha gives her husband a kind smile. "Let Slade take his own path. I'm upset too that he betrayed us. But it was his decision." Her words showed no sadness or hatred. Ario nodded to his wife's words. Still feeling hatred for his son.

The doors to the room bursted open a minute later. Ario stood up and whipped his body around. His eyes turning red for the interruption. He finds one of his Reavers standing there. Looking like he was out of breath.

"Sir, He-Lush-Ka has been revived. His body is reviving to its form and his soul is finally inside."

Ario looks toward Patrisha and found her already asleep. He bends down and gives her a quick kiss on the forehead. Then he turns back around and follows the Reaver.

His fist were held tightly together.

"Is he awake? Or is he beginning too?" Ario demands instead of questioning. He looks at the Reaver he was following. Seeing how he kept a straight face. "He-Lush-Ka is beginning to awaken. He should be awake once he get there." said the Reaver.

No longer talking. Ario just nodded to the Reaver's words. "Alright, Mathew. Tell me that Lush's power is much more powerful." Ario said as he sees doors appearing in front of them. Feeling a powerful force coming from inside. "I promise you sir, he is much more powerful." Mathew said.

A smile came to Ario's lips as he hears those words. 'Now I will get revenge for that girl, Adriana, for killing my son in the first place.'

Opening the doors to the room. Ario finds He-Lush-Ka laying in front of a wall made of water. He was stark naked while tattoos concealed his body. The color of his hair was replaced with the color of shimmering gold.

Sensing his father's presence, He-Lush-Ka turned his body around. Showing that his eyes were a glowing, ice blue. Shimmering mist came out of his eyeballs. As if they were dry ice.

"Father." He-Lush-Ka said said with a relieved smile. Ario returned the same. "Good thing you are alive, my son. Now we can kill Adriana Coleman."

A cold glare appeared on He-Lush-Ka's face. He let out a murderous roar of anger. Shaking the entire room. Making his father smile at his son's newborn power.

'Get ready, Adriana. I will be burying you in ash. . .'
