Chapter 14

Adriana thrashes around in anger. Trying to escape the two Reavers' grasp. Feeling how tight their grip was on her arms. She tries to threaten them by her growling. But they didn't flinch.

Her mind repeated the memory of what happened like an hour ago. Remembering her of when Reavers came out of nowhere and suddenly snatched her. Then put a sack over her head so she couldn't see anything. And took her to their hideout.

"Once I escape I'll kill you two first!" Adriana shouts at them. Her eyes glowing bright yellow. She tries to find a way to make them let go by trying to bite them. Or by showing that her Beast was awake.

'DAMN THEM! LET ME KILL 'EM!" shouted Beast. Adriana mentally shakes her head. 'We're outnumbered. We need to escape. I'll find a way so don't get your damn panties in a twist!' Adriana thought to Beast. Trying to make her Other Side rational.

She stops walking for a quick second and did a quick high kick. Sending her foot into the left Reaver's eye. Then quickly switches feet and struck the other Reaver in the mouth. Her movements done in a second.

The two screamed in pain at the same time. Both dropped their hands and holding the spot where they were kicked. Blood already falling out of where she kicked the two of them. Their pain caused Adriana the smirk.

She quickly runs away. Using all her senses to try and find a way out of this place.

'Finally!' screamed Beast inside her mind. Making Adriana roll her eyes. Her comments annoyed her very much. 'You weren't much help dammit!' Adriana thought angrily. Which earned her to have Beast to suddenly cause a headache. She ignores the head splitting pain and continued to run. Silently cursing at her other side.

"GET BACK HERE!" shouted the two Reavers. Adriana just laughs meanly while she ran. Knowing that the injuries she caused must've caused serious damage. She turns her head around and saw them running toward her. Except one of them was struggling to see with his bloody eye.

She began to run faster. Her feet turning into a blur as she ran.

The smell of fresh air came to her nostrils. Adriana looks to her left and saw a door that probably led to the outside. She does a sharp turn and ran to that direction. Running as fast as she could.

Before she could reach the door in time. Pain shot through her neck at blinding speed. She gasps in pain and fell to the ground. All feeling in her legs gone. Or in her arms. She was just lucky to still be breathing.

"Nearly escaped have we?" asked a familiar yet older sounding voice.

Adriana moved her head as far as she could to see who spoke. Seeing it was Ario. He had a smug look on his face as he stared down at her.

Growling at him in anger, Adriana wished she could move her body.

'Once I get feeling I'm gonna slaughter him!'

'Same here dammit!' Adriana and Beast both said.

Trying her best to move her body. Only able to move her chest and head. Adriana growled in anger as she tried to move.

"Don't even try, I've struck a single nerve that can make you lose feeling in both your legs and arms." said Ario. Earning a loud snarl by Adriana. Her eyes changed from brown to yellow. With now a tint of red.

"Looks like she has grown much powerful." said Lush's voice.

Adriana shoots her head upwards to look behind her. Finding Lush standing there. No broken bones or wounds on his body. It confused her very much. "How the fuck are you healed!? I broke your damn leg!" Adriana said shocked. Her question made Lush smile in a creepy way.

"We have healers, they can heal any broken bone in under a minute." Lush gloated. Adriana just rolls her eyes at him. Hearing Beast make a throwing up noise in her mind. It nearly made Adriana laugh.

Remembering the case at hand. Adriana looked at Ario in anger. "Why the hell am I here? It took you three damn years to kidnap me. You're very slow."

The comment got her a kick to the ribs. Adriana gasped and began to cough. Feeling lightheaded. 'Why that-' screamed Beast.

"We were gonna kill you. But I need you alive." Ario whispered in her ear. Adriana felt her skin crawl. Feeling his hot breath touch her skin. "Why?!" Adriana asked frantically. "Because my mother needs your blood to live." Lush answered.

Adriana stared at Ario in shock.

'He has a damn wife! WHY I OTTA-'

'Don't say anything!'

Ignoring Beast's words, Adriana began to growl. She began to start to feel her arms and legs again. A smirk came to her lips as she stared at Ario. "Sorry, Ario. But I ain't helping you."

After that said Adriana jumps back to her feet. Then she did a front snap kick toward Ario. Hitting him hard in the lungs.

Sensing an attack coming from behind. Adriana quickly bends backwards. A fist was right above her. Nearly a finger length from touching her. Adriana just smirks and grabs Lush's arm. Then flung him over her shoulder.

Adriana straightens up and ran. But she heard and smelled more Reavers coming. So she quickly ran toward another door and enters it. Quickly taking cover.

She takes a sigh of relief and looks ahead of herself. Finding a bed in front of her. There was someone in the bed. It was Patrisha.
