Lush's Permanent Death

Chapter 23

Adriana stared down where she was in the tall tree. Staring down at the police officers. Asking her stepmother, Judy questions. She could hear the questions as she sat there. Things like~

"Do you know where you husband got the gun?"

"Do you know why he had this attitude?"

"Why did he want to hurt his blood daughter?"

Adriana didn't know what she should do. She stares at Judy. Waiting for her answers. Wondering what her stepmother would say. But her eyes drifted to her stepsister. Seeing how she was being aided by the paramedics.

"Adriana told me how her father abused her after her mother left. I never knew that when I married Michael. But when Adriana returned from two years of being gone. I found out."

Pain stung her heart once she heard Judy's response. But it soon faded. Knowing she will soon have to leave. Her eyes trailed to her father. Finding him being carried into an ambulance. Wounds and bruises were able to be seen from her view. All from Adolf and Orion.

'Adolf and Orion really saved your ass back there!' said the deep, dark, and relieved sounding voice of Beast.

"I know, and I'll thank them. Right now Adolf is taking Orion back. He needs to be treated." Adriana spoke aloud.

She stands up from where she stood. Sinking her claws into the tree so she wouldn't fall. Or so the branch she sat on would break she would be prepared. Adriana looks back at Judy. Listening to them one last time.~

"Where is this Adriana?" asked the head officer. Adriana looks at Judy. Looking a little frightened.

"I don't know, she just ran after being shot. Her father chased her, but when she ran into the forest. I guess he thought she would die in there from blood loss." Judy lied perfectly. Sounding all shaken up. Adriana saw her look up toward her. Judy's eyes meeting hers.

For a second, Adriana thought she'd see hatred in Judy's eyes. But instead there was hope. And warmth in them. The way Judy has always looked at her.

Smiling at Judy. Adriana does a nod and jumps backwards. Landing on the ground swiftly. Not breaking anything as she hit the ground. She spun around and took off. Her wolf side taking control once again. She closes her eyes and feels the wind rush passed her.

'Don't calm down now!'

'Why?'

'We have trouble.'

Once Beast spoke Adriana froze. She stopped running and stood still. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up. Her yellow eyes looked all around. Trying to find any sign of danger. Lifting her nose in the air. Sniffing the air.

Two scents came to her nostrils. Both covered in blood. But was able to smell them through it.

Ario and He-Lush-Ka. . .

Adriana readies her claws and looks around. Her sense of smell became sharper. Her eyes shooting farther and farther into distance. 'M-My abilities, they're becoming stronger!' Adriana said startled.

The feeling of the wind picked up. Ruffling her fur. The power inside her grew stronger. It felt like brand new power was surging through her. Adriana's legs started to wobble. Making her feel weak and vulnerable.

'Your tattoos are given with power. That's how you were given me.'

'Dammit Beast! Next time tell me sooner or later!'

Adriana looks up in front of her. Finding He-Lush-Ka and Ario in front of her. Both looking dangerous. Their eyes shown sneering and showed a killer gaze.

Growls escaped her lips. Slowly shifting back into human form. Adriana flexed her muscles and readied an attack. She licks her lips. Looking ready to kill hem. "Why are you here!?" Adriana demanded coldly. Her eyes stared deep into Ario and Lush's soul. As if she was going to kill by just looking at them.

"To kill you, that's why." Lush spoke. He slowly walked toward her. Adriana noticed that he held a knife in his hand. A pure silver knife.

She glared at the knife and then at Lush. "What's with the silver knife, Lush? Believe those stories of silver is a wolf's enemy?" Adriana sneered coldly. A smirk appeared on her lips. Lush glared daggers at her. Hatred burning deep in his eyes.

Ario slowly walked toward Adriana. He draws out the same knife as Lush. Looking much more dangerous.

Quickly jumping backwards. Adriana stares at Ario with dark yellow eyes. The yellow in her irises grew larger. Covering her entire eye. Looking like an angry wolf monster. Her fangs grew longer, enough to be shown when she shuts her mouth.

"You caught me at a bad time, but I'd love to fight." Adriana said gruffly. Her voice deepening the more her new powers grew. She feels the wet soil sink into her sharp nails. "Well then I'm glad to catch you then." Ario whispered as he started to run.

Jumping back just in time before the blade touched her neck. Adriana sank her feet into the bark of a tree. Then lunged straight at Ario. A loud roar escaping her lips. She succeeds in tackling him to the ground. Sinking her long claws into his shoulders.

"I'm now much stronger!" Adriana shouted as she lifts her nails. Ready to gouge the man's eyes out. Before she could get him she was tackled off of him. Landing directly on her side painfully. She grunts in pain and glared at Lush. Knowing he would be the one and he was the only one there.

She grabs the front of his shirt and throws him over her shoulder. Then she jumps back to her feet. Twisting her body around to ready and fight Lush. Seeing he was already on his feet.

His eyes glowed a dangerous blue. His veins were visible from Adriana's view. Lush slowly walked toward her. Readying his long knife. While Adriana circled him like a wolf about to attack its prey. She licks her lips as she readies her fangs. Adriana stops circling him and jumps. Her claws and teeth aiming for his backside.

Before she touched him Lush whipped his body around. His knife ready. Adriana barely dodged in time. The silver blade nicked her in the belly. Enough to draw some blood. But not enough to make her feel faint. Adriana lands on her side but quickly rolled back on to her feet. Glaring at Lush with pain filled eyes.

'You'll pay for that!' Adriana roared in wolf tongue.

She ran and lunged at Lush again. Faster than Lush could've expected. This time she was able to grab his arm that was armed. Her jaws sank deep into his flesh. Sending a lot of pressure and pain into his arm. Lush let out a painful cry. Thrashing all around to try and make Adriana release. But nothing could stop her.

Adriana let's go for a second and then grabbed the knife that he dropped with her teeth. She jumps backwards and took human form. Watching as Lush groaning on the ground. Trying his best to stand. Walking toward Lush calmly. She looks down at the blade for a second. Feeling how it painfully pulsed in her hand. Burning her palm by the touch.

Quickly, she sinks the blade into Lush's throat. Stopping his struggling of trying to stand. Adriana saw his eyes widen for a second. Then they became calm. Blood began to run down his nose and mouth. Adriana then sliced Lush's head off. Making sure he will have a permanent death, and not be revived again.
