Tsunami

Chapter 7

Adriana ran down toward the large lake. Her bare feet digging against the dirt. Scratching against sharp rocks and sticks. Ignoring the stinging pain in her feet.

Fury burning deep inside her eyes. The color of her eyes were replaced with blood red. She stops once she finds herself on the shore of the lake. The lake spread out for about fifty miles. Far and wide enough for boats to ride around.

Looking up toward the sky. Seeing it looked like it was about to rain. Ignoring the look of rain. Adriana looks toward the water. Seeing how it waved around. Fish jumping into the air and back down.

She started toward the lake. Hunger coming over her as she stared at the jumping fish. Adriana takes in a deep breath. Filling her lungs with fresh air before jumping into the water.

Adriana dives straight into the water. The cold water enveloping her immediately. She begins to swim down under. Swimming down toward the bottom of the lake. Holding her breath without a struggle.

She swims farther down into the lake. Rays of light pressing against her. Adriana closes her eyes and feels her anger face away. Loving how the feeling of levitating was on her.

Fish began to swim next to her. As if they think she's a friend. Adriana turns her head toward a fish that was next to her. Seeing it was a large bass. Her vision wasn't blurry. Instead she could see the bass clearly.

Shooting her hand toward the bass next to her. She grabs the bass easily in her hand. And then she bites down on it with her sharpened teeth.

Blood began to spray out of the bass. Surrounding her head and the dying bass. Adriana whips her head all around. Gripping the bass with her claws and teeth. Killing it and began to eat it.

'Damn, I'm hungry!' shouted Beast. Adriana nearly felt herself blackout as Beast slowly took over her. As she began to eat the bass raw.

Feeling the need for air filled Adriana's burning lungs. She let go of the half eat fish and swam up toward the surface. Her burning lungs hurting her.

Adriana gasps for air as she jumps into the air. Half of her body jumping into the air. While the lower half was still in the water. She flips her hair behind her. No longer having it in front of her face.

The calmness and burning feeling disappeared. She instead felt something off close by. Adriana turns her body around and finds someone where she dove off.

Her eyes widened in horror at who she saw.

The thought to be dead Reaver, He-Lush-Ka.

Adriana quickly dove into the water and hoped he didn't see her. Knowing that he will kill her if she got to shore she will surely be killed. She suddenly felt a powerful blast hit her. Sending her forward.

Air rushed out of her lungs. Immediately, she began to gasp for air. While she tried to swim upward for more air. Something suddenly wrapped around her legs and yanked her down. Adriana looks down and found water wrapped around her. It looked like snakes made from water wrapping around her legs.

Tears from pain fled from her eyes. Even if it couldn't be seen from the water.

'I ain't dying today!' screamed Beast.

Adriana loses all control of her body. Feeling Beast tale control of her body. She watches as she is swimming to the surface. Kicking and swatting the water snakes off of her.

Jumping straight out of the water. Adriana feels herself hit the shore. Sand covering her wet skin.

Coughing up water and wheezing for air. Feeling herself nearly blackout. Adriana felt like she may cough up the fish she ate. Coughing up some of the scales that were on it.

"D-Damn. . ." Adriana struggled to say. She looks ahead of herself and finds Lush in front of her. A sneerful look on his face.

"Amazing, your Beast side saved you." Lush said. Adriana looks over Lush's near form body.

He wore a black sleeveless shirt to show many tattoos on his arms. Then a pair of jeans. Looking like any normal teen. Other than with the inhuman gold hair. Also with the misty blue eyes.

Adriana slowly stood up. Feeling her strength slowly come back. She glared angrily at Lush.

"You son of a-"

She was silenced by a hard punch to the face. Landing flat on her back. Adriana grunts when she felt her back make a hard crack sound. Adriana began to moan in pain.

Looking up toward Lush. Seeing how he had an evil smirk.

Suddenly, he lifted up his hands and the tattoos that were the symbol of water began to glow. Adriana could hear the water behind her move. She struggles to move and look behind her. Finding that the water was slowly moving up into a large wave.

The water suddenly moved forward and headed toward her. In the form of a tsunami!

"ADRIANA!" screamed the frightened voices of Andrea and Slade.
