Anger Control

Chapter 11

Everyone was silent as they stared down at Andrea's now dead body. All staring sadly at her motionless body. Her tan skin already pale.

Slade wasn't in the room. Instead he was in the forest destroying everything in his path. For the noises they heard proved of his anger.

"She-she was a good person. As was Caesar. The two are in a better place." Bryanna struggled to say. Tears ran down her face as she stared at her only daughter. Orion was next to her, crying as well. His bruised face covered with tears.

Adriana was the only one who wasn't crying. For she was crying inside. She stared at her best friend/sister's body. Feeling the life gone inside her. But some life was still inside. But only a pinch.

She looks out the window to see Slade right there. Watching as he grabbed a large oak tree with both his hands. And effortlessly ripped it out of the earth. Then throwing it to the side. Causing a light shake on the earth by the tree's size and weight. Adriana was able to see that his eyes were the color of red instead of pink.

Standing up, Adriana walks toward the door. Not wanting to be anywhere near anyone. But she did want to speak to Slade.

"Adriana?"

Adriana stops when she hears Adolf speak. She turns around to look at him. Seeing he was now standing. "I'm gonna talk to Slade." Adriana quickly says. Not wanting Adolf or anyone else to follow.

Adolf nods and sits back down. Only to have arms wrapped around him by Fawn. Who was crying deep into his chest. The look of it made Adriana giggle. Seeing how uncomfortable Adolf looked.

Now walking outside. Adriana looks forward and finds Slade about to destroy another tree.

"Slade." Adriana spoke slowly.

Slade looked up once he heard his name spoken. Finding Adriana standing there. He let's go of the tree he held and backed away. Dropping his hands at his sides.

"Hi." Slade said while looking at his feet.

Adriana walks up to him. Placing her hand on his shoulder. Giving it a light squeeze. "She's fighting death. I sense a pinch of life in Andrea." Adriana whispers. Slade stares at Adriana in shock. "We need to know how to revive her. That means we need to find He-Lush-Ka."

Slade stared up at the ceiling. Feeling depression come over him. Dried tears stuck to his cheeks. All that was on his mind was Andrea.

He closes his eyes and takes in a deep breath. Trying to calm down.

"Andrea. . ."

Closing his eyes once again. Hoping to ease the anger and pain. "I wish you were still here." Andrea's face came to his mind. More and more tears bled down his eyes.

Suddenly, red hot anger exploded from inside him. Slade's eyes shot open. His eyes pure, flaming red. Real flames coming out of his eyes. Slade jumps off his bed and hurries to the window. Determination coming over him.

He opens the window and jumps out. Landing flat on his bare feet. Slade looks up and stared ahead of him. Feeling where He-Lush-Ka was.

"Don't think you're going to battle your brother alone." said the voice of Adriana.

Turning around completely shocked. Slade finds Adriana with her back against a tree. Dressed in all black. Her entire form blending in to the darkness. Looking like a phantom. The look of her sent slight shivers up Slade's spin.

A smirk was on her face as she looked at him. Looking deadly.

"H-How?!" Slade asked startled. Adriana chuckled at him. Exposing her glistening fangs. "I know you, Slade. You would go and find the one who killed your girlfriend. But as I told you, there is still some life in her. Andrea is fighting death as we speak!"

He stared at Adriana in shock. Then he takes in a deep breath. "We'll need He-Lush-Ka's blood. Then we feed it to Andrea. She should awake when she drinks it." Slade suddenly said. He could feel Adriana's shocked gaze on him. Looking up at her, seeing how shocked she was. It made him smile a little.

Adriana then smiles at Slade. "It's good that you know how to help. Now get on my back."

She turns around and shape shifts into her wolf form. Slade stared utterly shocked at her words. Then he walked toward her. A bright blush appearing on his cheeks.

Getting on Adriana's back. Feeling very embarrassed at this. Slade gripped her fear tightly in his palms. "O-Okay I'm ready." Slade said nervously.

In a blink of an eye Adriana took off running. Slade barely let out a yelp. Feeling the wind blast in his face once Adriana took off. Also feeling some branches whack him in the face.

'I better not fall off!' Slade screamed in his mind. He gripped tighter on Adriana's fur. His heart was racing faster and faster each minute.

He clings to Adriana's back as hard as he could. His hands shaking incredibly hard. Slade ducks his head to dodge long branches. Fear nearly coming over him.

Suddenly, Adriana stopped running. Slade felt like he may fly off. "Next time warn me!" Slade shouted down at Adriana. Earning an annoyed snarl from her.

Getting off of Adriana. Slade brushes the fur off of him. Then he looks back at Adriana. Seeing she was already in her human form and had her back against a tree. Looking all cool and relaxed. She looks up at him and says,"So how was your first wolf ride?" Her voice was full of mischief.

"We are never doing that again!"

Before Adriana could make a comment. Vines suddenly shot out of the ground. Wrapping tightly around Adriana's arms and hoisted them up.

Slade gasped when he feels vines wrap around his throat. And was hoisted in the air.
