Rivalry

Chapter 6

Adriana stares down at Adolf. Who was passed out on her bedroom floor. He was in his wolf form.

His fur was pure white. Scars from battle were able to be seen.

Adolf was curled into a tight ball. His tail was flicking around. Touching his snout. The look of him made Adriana giggle. He looked so peaceful.

But not for long. . .

Adriana walks to her window and opens it. She looks at the driveway and finds all cars gone. A smirk was displayed on her lips as she saw them gone. Then she whips her body around and she walked over to her drawer. Stepping over the large, sleeping wolf. She opens a sock drawer which wasn't full of clothes. Instead it had a bullhorn inside.

A devilish smile was on her lips as she stares down at it. Grabbing the horn, Adriana turns around to face Adolf. Seeing he moved and was now laying on his side.

Placing her thumb on the button. Adriana braces herself and pushes down. A loud, blaring noise escaping the horn.

Adolf immediately bolted up and was looking all around. Completely startled out of his wits. Adriana drops the bullhorn and falls down laughing. Holding on to her sides as she laughs. Feeling how they began to hurt.

She gasps when Adolf pounces on her in his wolf form. Glaring down at her with large yellow eyes. Adriana kept on laughing as he looked at her.

But she was silenced when Adolf licked her face. Silencing her completely. Making her eyes widen stunned. She laid there completely frozen. Not feeling like she could move.

Adolf shape shifts back into his human form and bursted out laughing. His turn to hold on to his sides. His laughter ended by Adriana crashing her foot hard on his chest.

"I think I'm gonna pay Orion another visit."

Her words made Adolf freeze in place. Jealousy slightly burning in his eyes were shown. It didn't go unnoticed by Adriana. She turns to face him. Completely shocked.

"Are you jealous?" Adriana asked stunned. Adolf looked up at his friend. Seeing how confused and stunned she looked. "To be honest, yes. You like me and Orion. Why can't you decide!?" Adolf immediately became angry. His eyes turning red.

Adriana was taken aback by her friend's words. But she just growled and spun around and stormed out of her room. Slamming the door closed in the process. The loud slam echoing around the empty house.

As she storms down the stairs she hears Adolf chasing her. Anger boiled deep inside her.

'NEXT TIME CHOOSE A GUY!' shouts Beast.

"SHUT UP!" Adriana nearly screamed instead of saying it in her mind. She jumps off the last ten steps and lands perfectly on her feet.

Quickly heading toward the door to get away. Before she got closer Adolf grabbed her. He spun her around and made her look at him. An irritated look on his face.

"Adriana, you need to choose." Adolf stated the obvious. Adriana just smacked him across the face. "No shit, Sherlock!" Adriana shouted at him. She pushes him off and tries to leave again. But Adolf kept her from doing so.

"ADRIANA!"

"WHAT!" Adriana screamed angrily.

She whips her body around to glare at him. Adolf does the same. "I can't just simply choose. You and Orion both understand me! I may have known you for two years! But Orion helped me-"

"I helped you too!"

"SHUT UP!"

Adriana's voice had deepened and turned into a much darker, older feminine voice. Pain shot through Adriana's left abdomen. Right where her wolf tattoo was. She looks up at Adolf. Showing her now demon looking eyes.

Seeing how dangerous Adriana was. Adolf showed some fear in his eyes. "Adriana, don't allow Beast to take over you." Adolf said seriously. He walked forward to try and reason with Adriana. But Adriana grabbed his hand and flipped him. Having him land flat on his back.

Adolf let off a pain filled groan. Blood began to trickle down his lips. He rolled his head to the side. Looking at Adriana with groggy eyes.

"You're right, I should pick someone. And I think Orion is my best choice." It was Adriana's voice who spoke.

She turns around and walks out of the house. Leaving Adolf staring at where she last stood.

Adolf roared in pure anger. His loud roar caused every life near him leave.

He punches the tree in front of him. Succeeding in ripping it out of its roots. It flew and hit other trees behind it.

'I hate that Orion!! I knew Adriana longer and he just steals her from me!'

Adolf breathes in very hard as he tried to let off steam. Blood trickles down his knuckles as he flexes them. Feeling the stinging pain fade. He bites down on his lower lip to bare some of he unbearable pain.

"Once I find that Orion, I will make him pay for taking her away. He's just any normal wolf. He's not a Lakota like me. I'm part of a noble tribe. I doubt he can even kill a human without crying!"

A mean smile appeared on his lips. He couldn't help but laugh meanly.

'Why are you acting this way!? This isn't what a Lakota Wolf acts like!' screamed his inner wolf side. Adolf felt himself wince at the wolf's volume. He stays silent.

'You didn't smell imprint on her! You didn't fully imprint on her! You're not ready for her! If you two didn't imprint than you weren't meant for one another!' shouted Adolf's wolf side.

'But I love Adriana!'

'Its not your decision. It's hers. Just be patient. Don't get greedy or try and kill that Orion.'

"Fine! But for now, Orion and I are love rivals!"
