Chapter 12

Adriana stared frightened as she watched Slade get beaten up while being strangled. He-Lush-Ka was easily beating him. Easily dodging every attack Slade tried to kick him when he had a clear shot.

Her eyes widened in complete horror once Slade is hit in the throat. Having the vines unwrap around his neck. Allowing him to collapse to the ground. He laid there not moving. But Adriana saw he was trying to move.

She tries to fight the bindings that were wrapped around her arms. Growls were exiting her mouth by frustration. Trying her best to rip the hard bindings off. She thrashes all around. Hurting her wrists as she fought against the vines.

"God dammit!" she screams loudly. Adriana moves rapidly and kicks. As of trying to fight an invisible enemy.

A grasp escaped her lips when she feels a hand caressing her neck. Looking up to find He-Lush-Ka standing right there. A cruel smirk on his face. "What the hell are you doing?!" Adriana demanded angrily. She tries to kick him but vines wrapped around her legs. The vines make her legs straight. Not allowing her to move.

He-Lush-Ka laughed once he saw her frustration and anger. "Such beauty, yet you're trying to kill me. And I have to kill you." he whispered in to her. His voice sounded low and huskily. Adriana glared daggers at Lush.

"Let me go right now!" Adriana shouted in his face. Her eyes flashed red. "Sorry but no, I need to finish you and my brother." He-Lush-Ka said with a smirk.

'Let me attack him!'

Nodding at Beast's request. Feeling Beast gaining strength to be set free. Adriana takes a deep breath and blanks out her mind. Then uses her mind to unchain Beast's bindings from within in her mind.

Setting Beast free. . .

Shooting open her eyes, Adriana shows that her eyes were now pure gold. She stares dangerously at He-Lush-Ka. Showing her anger.

For a second, He-Lush-Ka backed away. His eyes very wide.

Adriana breaks the vines on her wrists effortlessly. Then the vines around her legs were broken once she spread them out. She falls to the ground and lands perfectly on her feet. Looking up at Lush, seeing how stunned he now looked. But his eyes made him look scary.

Slowly, standing back up. Adriana slowly walked toward him. Beast was roaring inside to fully take over. Wanting to speak herself.

"You forgot about me!" Adriana shouted in Beast's voice. A cold smile appeared on her lips as she saw fear appear on Lush's face. Obviously remembering of the past. She walks toward him with a dangerous aura lingering.

He-Lush-Ka held his ground. Getting into a fighting position. Readying his fists to punch.

Adriana lunges at Lush in anger. He does a sharp backflip. Landing perfectly on his feet. Then Lush attacks Adriana with punches and kicks. Every time he attacked Adriana dodged and blocked.

She bends backwards once Lush sent a roundhouse kick toward her face. His foot grazed upon her nose. Nearly hitting her face. Adriana grabs his foot and turns it. Causing it to make a hard crack. Then she throws him behind her. Standing up straight, Adriana turns around to face Lush.

Lush stood up and used a tree for support. Adriana saw that his foot was in a bad position. A smirk appeared on her lips at his discomfort. It soon faded when Lush forced it back into position. Looking as if it never happened.

"How the fuck did you do that!?" Beast's voice demanded. She glares at Lush but held her ground. Behind her back she took out a knife she had hidden.

"I'm not as weak like I was before. I'm more of like a god."

Scoffing at Lush's words. Adriana rolls her eyes at him. "You are not a god!" she screamed. Adriana slowly started to walk toward him. Exposing the knife she hid. Lush looked down at the knife. Looking calm at it as if it was nothing.

"It's not a normal blade." Adriana spoke with a smug look. She advances on He-Lush-Ka and raises her knife.

All life around them faded to black as she ran at him. Ignoring all surroundings. Only keeping her eye on the target.

Doing a sharp front snap kick. Adriana aimed directly at the center of He-Lush-Ka's chest. He quickly blocked it on time. Then he quickly swung a straight punch at Adriana's face. Adriana catches it in time and does a quick move. Twisting his wrist and shooting pain through his arm. He-Lush-Ka fell to his knees and was groaning in pain.

Taking out the blade. Adriana readied herself to finish him. But she remembered the case at hand. Remembering what she and Slade came there for.

Yanking He-Lush-Ka's face up. Forcing him to look at her. He let out a painful groan when Adriana yanks his long hair. He-Lush-Ka glared angrily at her. But didn't attack or anything.

"Give me your blood, and I promise not to kill you now." Adriana demanded. Her voice now back in her normal voice. And not Beast's voice.

Instead of cooperating, He-Lush-Ka snarled at her. His eyes glowing into a dark red.

Adriana growls and places the blade on the jugular. A gasp immediately escaped Lush's lips once he felt the cool blade. "I'll kill you and have to blood. It's a win win. For me." Adriana said coldly. Seeing some fear flash in Lush's eyes.
