Morgan sat in the truck waiting for the driver, she had the first 12 divergents that were going to be sent to erudite, in them was Dominic's brother.

She had avoided Dominic as much as she could, but when she set her eyes on his already staring ones she felt the anger and pure disgust he had for her, he was going to talk no matter what.

Morgan was leaning on the windowsill while holding her head on her balled hand when the truck jolted as Eric climbed to the side of it, landing face to face with Morgan.

"All ready?"

"Aye aye captain" she said saluting him humorlessly.

"Don't be like that" Eric rolled his eyes. Morgan avoided his gaze and looked ahead. "I don't like it when you're mad at me"

She glared him, then sighed

"I just wish you would understand my reasons"

"I wish you understood mine" he replied. Morgan gave him a little nod "let's agree to disagree for now" his hand came to the balled hand that still held her head by the cheek, he took it to his lips and kissed it "I'm doing this fast and simple so we can get to the real deal"

Morgan knew what he was talking about, she finally let out a full smile as she leaned in to talk quietly with him.

"We need to talk tonight, or as soon as I return, please"

Eric gave her a little questioning frown, but she shook her head to indicate him that they couldn't talk now.

Eric straightened himself and kissed Morgan in the forehead.

The truck jolted again when the driver finally came around and sat at the driver's seat, he made a gesture to Eric, and he nodded in acknowledgment.

"See you when you come back" Morgan nodded at him, Eric's lips came to her and he kissed her long, she pressed her lips to his while holding him by the neck.

He retreated back with a little peck and climbed down the truck.

Morgan observed the scenery around her, she wasn't used to travel from dauntless to the city by truck, she always used the train.

The sound of the truck was cut off with the whistling of something cutting the air, and before Morgan could piece together what was happening the driver fell limp on the steering wheel, Morgan's heartbeat jumped and she frantically looked around, the truck continued to move forwards with speed, as it began to drift to the side.

The truck only stopped when it hit a tree on the side of the dirt road, and Morgan shooked violently forwards, she was fast enough to put her hand in front of her face and make them take the impact with the windshield. Breaking it and cutting her hands and a bit of her forearms, she looked around.

The driver was clearly dead, and she was sure it wasn't going to be long until the shooter found out she was alive.

With shaky and bloody hands she reached for the gun on the other side of the driver.

She heard footsteps around her, and with faster and unsteady moves she found the gun, lifting it to the window on the driver's side.

She heard nothing, then at the same time both the driver's and the passengers doors opened.

Having her front covered but her back vulnerable, she shot in front of her, then quicky turned around, only to find the other person already onto her.

She felt the gun being gripped and taken from her hands while her eyes focused on the person that was climbing from the passengers side.

Tris scooted next to her and closed the door.
