Bonus: Naming.

"OK so" Morgan plopped down on the couch, book in hand and papers in the other "we should really get to this, we have to stop the 'it' thing and name the baby"

"I read that it's good we name the baby now and start talking to it with his name so he can recognize it a lot sooner as it's own" Eric sat down next to her with a cup of coffee in his hand

"Are you sure you didn't see the gender?"

"Positive baby" he sipped his drink and took the paper with his name choices from Morgan's hand.

"OK, I have to continue this and then we'll see what we got. And please don't trigger me this time around"

Eric chuckled and opened the book.

There were thousands upon thousands of names for them to pick, any time Eric read the meaning of them he changed his mind, Morgan didn't really need the book, she just came up with names at the top of her head, names that she had heard around the compound and thought were pretty.

Girl naming did came difficult for her, when she reached that sector she had to grab the book to give the names a peek

"What strategy are you using?" Eric asked writing down.

Morgan snorted

"Strategy? I'm not following any strategy I'm just picking out the pretty ones" she found a girl name she liked and wrote it down

"I picked all the names that mean badass things"

"Ooooh" she said suggestively "pretty like me and badass like you. I like that"

"How about pretty like me and badass like you" he said snuggling closer to her, his arms wrapping around her waist and stomach.

"You're not pretty and I'm not badass"

Eric tsked her tongue and kissed her shoulder

"Are you done?" She asked, seeing that he wasn't writing anything

"Yeah, we said five names" Eric looked at Morgan's extensive list.

"Oh shit" she muttered "did we say five?"

"It's OK, we can read up on all of those"

Eric picked up his list and cleared his throat.

"Girl names fist?" Morgan nodded "my first choice and the decisive one on my part if it is a girl it's Laurelie"

Morgan let out a chuckle

"What?"

"Nothing" she said hiding her smile

"It comes from Lorelei and it means it lures men to destruction"

"Damn" she looked at him "you've got a good eye for names"

"What's you name pick" Morgan rolled her eyes

"I have like 10 here. My favorite is Sia. It's short and sweet"

Eric looked around the room and pondered at the name, Sia Laurelei... Laurelei Sia...

"It doesn't stick to nice" he commented

"How about Catelyn?"

"Absolutely not. It's a fucking mess, with two ts or one? K or C? How many ns at the end? With an i or a y in the end? Caitlin or Catelyn? No, fuck that"

"OK chill" Morgan said as she chuckled "my god, why are you so hardcore."

"Because I want it to have an impact" he grabbed his laptop. "Let's check how many Laureleis are in dauntless"

He typed into the search bar in one of the programs that held the info about the dauntless population.

"Fucking zero. Our daughter could be the first one. She could be the first Sia too" he said as he quickly searched and showed Morgan the empty program.

"OK. If you like Laurelei you can have that name, and I can have Sia"

"Fine" he said taking the piece of paper.

"OK. I'm happy with that" she said with a smile, Eric mirrored it when he gave her a quick glance "for boy names I have a fuck ton" she commented "my favorite, by far, is Logan."

"Logan?" He frowned

"Don't look up what it means because it's a shitty meaning. But I like it because it's like mine. Morgan.... Logan... See?"

"Yeah I see" he said "well... My favorite is Alexander"

Morgan gasped loudly

"Oh my god I actually picked that one as my second favorite" she exclaimed. She clapped her hands excitedly "we're keeping that one"

"See? It's all downhill from here" he said as he showed Morgan the amount of dauntless members with the name Alexander.

"Don't be so dramatic" she said grabbing the pen "we just have to add a little twist to it"

Morgan scribbled down a modified version of the name, then she lifted it up to his eyes.

"Instead of an x we put ks, and we have 'Aleksander' how many dauntless have it like that?"

Eric searched and smiled at Morgan when he saw that there were zero.

"What does Alexander mean anyway?"

"It means men's protector"

"So, either he's going to protect men, or she's going to lure them to destruction"

"I'm happy with that" he said smiling at her.

"Let's do this. Alexander can be used as the female version as well, like Alexandria, or even better Alexis. So we can keep Alexander/Alexandria ans the unisex name can be just Alex. When he or she is born we can name them accordingly, using our other name choices"

"That sounds good"

He leaned and pressed his ear against her stomach

"Are you happy with that Alex?" He said rubbing her stomach as Morgan ran a hand on his hair.

"Aleksander Logan Coulter" she said, making Eric smile widely. "That sounds very good"

"Exceptionally good"

"Alexandria Laurelei Coulter.... Mmmm" she grunted "it's too long... Sia Alexandria Coulter."

"Sia Alexis Coulter"

"Alexis Sia Coulter. Alexis Laurelei Coulter" he said following Morgan's game.

"I had also picked Eric as one of the names"

"That's my name already"

"It could have been Eric Coulter Jr."

"No, that's just awful. I can already see it, how people are going to pick on him because his mom and dad are head leaders of dauntless. We have to give the kid some individuallity"

Morgan chuckled, feeling the baby move around and kick at where Eric had his ear pressed.

"I think Alex its a good name for now"

"I think so too. Should we agree on that?"

Morgan extended her hand for Eric to shake, but Eric held it and took it to his lips, he kissed it slowly and then took it to his chest.
