The Unexpected. [Secuel To The Unknown] {Eric FF}

Forty Four.

The next day Eric was up before Morgan, he thought he would let her sleep in if she needed it.

He walked to Aleks' bedroom, finding him rubbing his eyes, he stood at the side of the crib to see if he was waking up, and luckily he was.

He took him and dressed him up, leaving a note to Morgan saying he was taking Aleks to work with him.

Despite Morgan's flat out refusal of giving Aleks formula, they had to come to it a few times if she got caught up into training. Eric knew how meaningful it was to Morgan to just sit and feed her baby, but at the same time he liked doing that too.

Already in his office Eric always had a little meeting with the other leaders, he heard the reports and set them off to their duties. Today it was kind of his turn to be interrogated

"How's Morgan?" Angie asked.

"She's fine, though she's not working with the outsiders anymore"

"Anymore?" Liam perked up "we're still training those assholes?" He angered up

"That I don't know. I have to talk to Jay, see how things ended up last night. In the meantime I want two of you to deal with initiation, we're a month away and with this whole things we don't know if we'll be training two kinds of people at the same time. Also, I want to know if what the outsiders thought was true. Interrogate the women we got back from the truck and get me names"

Liam nodded, though his jaw was still tight, then he turned around and left.

Eric gave Peter a little look, asking him to get Jay himself and had the other leaders dismissed and back to their tasks.

When he was alone he sat Aleks in the high chair he had in his office and asked to get him a bottle of formula.

Aleks quietly chugged down his breakfast while Eric just sat in his office, without knowing how to proceed.

Jay walked into his office after a few minutes with a little manila folder.

"And?" He asked, Jay sat in the chair in front of him and let the folder on the desk.

"They still want you to train them in dauntless, since the fear landscape can't be taken out of the city. They've agreed on the no Morgan thing and they sent their sincerest apologies on what happened."

"Yeah well, too fucking late for that" he said rubbing his eyes.

"I can have another side of the compound cleared for them to stay there, since we have initiation upon us" Jay offered

"Good, let's see if this group goes down smoother than the last one..." He finished with a sigh. After Jay exited the office Eric looked at his boy, who was already finishing the bottle. He heard another knock on the door and he gave the person the queue to enter.

In came Morgan, freshened up and ready to go.

"Hey" she said with a little smile, she closed the door and walked to the side to touch Aleks' head "you two woke up early?"

"Yeah, I thought I would let you sleep in a while longer" he said, picking up a toy from the desk drawer and giving it to Aleks.

Morgan looked down and bent over to look at him.

"Hi baby" she said quietly, running her thumb on his cheek. He continued picking up the toy, but he didn't look at her "are you mad at me because I took you back to your crib last night?"
Aleks continued to ignore her, and Morgan had seen him not paying attention to her when he was mad, he was a little shit like that.

"He's not your biggest fan today baby" Eric said. Morgan smile a little, then stood up and let out a sigh

"Well, i guess I'll have to do some work until I can take him home with me"
