Morgan leaned her head against the cold tiles of the shower. It had been a month since she had been attacked.

Still, she didn't talk about it with Eric, or anyone for that matter. The looks of pity wasn't something either of them wanted. It had taken Morgan a lot of time to become as fearful and as respected as Eric, and she didn't want anyone to think less of her after they lost a baby, after she even got pregnant.

She busied herself with the leadership's chores that Eric didn't want to touch.

Her job was paper work, only because she didn't feel like interacting with other people, she barely interacted with Eric, she was just closed off, as if she talked anything with anyone she would just burst into tears one more time.

God knew she had been crying a lot in the past month. She knew it wasn't healthy, but still. She didn't spoke a word with anyone.

She felt the air change between Eric and her, not to mention they hadn't been intimate for a month, even if she was back on her birth control shot.

There were just to many reminders of what could have been every time she even thought of insinuate something to Eric.

She had found Eric looked at her with sad eyes way too many times, and she knew he was thinking about it, he was imagining it all in his head. Maybe he imagined how big her belly would be at that point.

They needed to talk about it, Morgan needed to know what Eric thought. Maybe after tonight it would all come to a closure.

Eric was out, on the other side of the fence looking for Francis, but first he wanted to get rid of Stephanie. She had been the one to let them in, turn off the cameras, all of it. A little payback to Morgan. A payback that was currently costing her not only her sanity, but her relationship with the man she loved furiously.

She was in the shower, she had been for a few minutes. When she finished taking a bath and dressed herself, she sat on the kitchen table and drummed her fingers on the surface.

Eric and her had planned it, and they were on a tight schedule, so she waited for the clock to indicate the hour in wich she had to intervene.

Midnight. She sighed as she took her jacket and walked out of the door. She made her way into the control room, spotting Dominic.

She smiled as she walked to him and dragged a chair to sit next to him

"Long time no see" he said smiling. She rubbed her hands together and smiled, it wasn't a coincidence that Dominic and her didn't spoke much, one because Eric was way to jealous of him, and she suspected Creed might had scared him away ever since their little confrontation outside of Eric's room almost 6 months ago.

"Eric is working late and I was bored so" she dismissed the subject "hey how about you go grab us some coffee so we can chat?"

He smiled and moved away from the chair to walk out of the control room.

She moved quickly on the computer keyboard and typed the camera she was looking for, the one that was just at the gate that connected the fence from the inside to the outside of the city. She saw Eric leaning against a tree, looking at the camera.

She grabbed the stick that controled the camera and moved it sideways, the camera shook. Eric made a thumbs up gesture. She turned the camera off and deleted the footage from the last 10 minutes. She turned the camera back on when Eric was out of sight. She turned everything back to normal just when Dominic entered with two coffees.

They talked for a while, a conversation that had nothing to do with Morgan, aside from the fact that he wanted to know how was her married life.

But then the subject swayed towards the new leaf that Eric was turning dauntless into.
