The Unexpected. [Secuel To The Unknown] {Eric FF}

Author's Note and Alternative Universe.

So. Everything did went to shit, just like Morgan predicted.

Needless to say that out lovely couple gets split out from here on out, and the next chapters will be filled with plot points, so I'm sorry if you wanted to see more EricxMorgan, but that'll have to wait for now.

This whole thing is not how I originally wrote it. When I finally got down to editing what was already written from almost 5 months ago, I changed a LOT of things around.

In the original draft Morgan was never threatened by Dominic, she just wanted to help Dominic's little brother out of the kindness of her heart. She is still ambushed in the truck, but Four knocked her out and scapes in the truck, leaving Morgan in the city.

Eric is perceived as icompetent by the other factions, especially erudite, and they're thinking he should be relieved of his charge. Morgan cant do that to Eric so she confessed, saying that she helped Four and Tris get away.

Eric sees this as the ultimate betrayal from Morgan, she says she did it for Dominic and Eric flips shit. They get into a physical fight, and since Morgan was already beaten up by Four she gets beaten up some more by Eric.

In an attempt to fix this situation for Eric she heads to candor to take responsibility, and to take this weight off of Eric's shoulders.

Eric vents with the guys at the bar, and Creed goes out to find Morgan, unbeknownst to Eric.

He pleaded her to go back to dauntless, but Morgan is determined. Eric doesn't want to see Morgan for a while, the next day he receives a citation to attend Morgan's trial.

He goes out to candor, Morgan confesses everything thanks to the truth serum, the rest of the factions decide to exile her from the city, and Morgan and Eric have a bitter goodbye.

That was all that was written, then I jumped to the reconciliation, which is now useless because since none of that happened, the reconciliation has to be in a new set of mind.

I didn't like where the draft was going which is why I decided to trash it and build what I wrote, Eric and Morgan would have ended up angry at each other, Eric would feel betrayed, I didn't want that for my babies.

And Morgan wouldn't plot against Eric for the fuck of it, she had to have a reason, which is the threat, Morgan doesn't crack under pressure, but Dominic has the upper hand.

I just wanted to give you that little sneak of what could have been, just for shits and giggles.

Everything here on out for the next chapters is Morgan split up from Eric, until who knows when.

The couple reunites again in give or take 6 chapters so... I hope the plot is good enough to keep you guys hooked!
