Chapter 14

Hoseok POV

It's finally time for MAMA 2016 and we are so excited to attend. I walked outside from my room and I saw some of the others sitting on the couch and surprisingly I saw Red Velvet sitting on the couch too.

"Aren't you guys going to get ready and head to SM?" I asked

Wendy turned to me, "Mwo? What do you mean?"

"For MAMA 2016... You guys are going... Right?" Jungkook asked

"Uh..." Seulgi said

Seulgi and Wendy turned to each other and Wendy turned facing to me and Jungkook afterwards, "We aren't attending MAMA this year..." Wendy said

"Mwo?!" All of us said

"Why not??" Jin said

"We actually don't know why we aren't attending... SM just told us that we aren't attending this year" Irene added on

Yeri POV

An hour passed and Joy walked out of her room. "What are we going to do now?"

Irene sighed, "I don't know, we can all just chill out"

"I don't understand why Lee Soo Man wouldn't let us attend MAMA... We could be interacting with many idols and groups" Joy said

"There must be a reason why Lee Soo Man wouldn't let us attend" Seulgi said, as she was grabbing a apple

"Yeah, I guess you're right" Wendy said, "But who knows?"

Then, Joy and I wanted to go to the store to buy foods. As we entered the store, we had our caps and mask on our face. Then we picked up the foods we wanted and walked to the cashier. 

"Annyeonghaseyo" Me and Joy said 

The cashier looked at us like she recognized us. "Are you Red Velvet Joy and Yeri? Oh don't worry I'm not a saesang"

We looked at each other then Joy whispered "Ne..."

"Why aren't you guys at MAMA?" She asks while scanning the items

"SM told us we can't go" I softly spoke

"Ah~" The cashier said

After, Joy Unnie was going to paided and we grabbed the grocery bags and headed back to the house.

Taehyung POV

MAMA finally ended and we returned home just all tired from the whole night. When we walked inside it was pretty late, but we were surprised to see Yeri and Seulgi ah up.

"Yeri ah! Seulgi ah!" I shouted

"Yah! The Unnies are sleeping! Keep your voice down" Yeri said

"Well, your shouting" Jungkook said

"What happened?" Seulgi asks, "How did you guys do?"

"We won artist of the year! Plus, best dance performance male group!" Hoseok announced 

"Wow!~ that's awesome!" Seulgi said while smiling

Then Yeri gave a thumbs up and smiling.

"I was surprised on the winners in some categories" Jimin said, "But some where like we knew that they were going to win"

"Well, you guys are lucky. While you guys were having the best moments at MAMA, we were stuck here... Doing nothing" Yeri pouted

The next morning...

Then Wendy ah walked out of her room, "Why is everyone so loud??"

"Noona! We won artist of the year!" Jungkook shouted

"Wait what?" Wendy said while rubbing her eyes and yawning

"3 years finally paided off!~" I said

Hey~ I was quite surprised on who won for best female group and best dance performance female group... I honestly feel like Red Velvet was robbed on these categories. Like, I do like Twice and Gfriend, but I was really surprised to see Gfriend winning best female dance performance because they were like 3rd or 4th place. I don't know, it just seems really unfair because Red Velvet were in the lead of 1st place for both categories at the time. Well then again, it's only 10% of voting that counts. I just feel like MAMA 2016 wasn't as hype as last year... *sigh*
