I sigh, and set down my book, placing a hand on my stomach. I'm roughly three months pregnant, and I haven't really started showing yet. It's so hard to focus lately... I'm hungry.

Just then my husband pokes is head into my study "Are you both ok?" He asks.

I roll my eyes "For the fourteenth time today Chrom, yes. Nothing has changed." I answer.

He walks over to where I'm sitting, and places his hand on my stomach, something he has been doing a lot lately. "Are you sure? You're not sick? The baby's ok?" He asks.

I sigh "Yes Chrom, the baby's fine. I'm just a little nauseous and hungry, but that's normal." I reply.

"Do you need me to get you anything?" He asks.

I shake my head "No. Sumia and I have tea soon, so I'll be fine. You don't need to check up one me every thirty minutes!" I say.

"I-I know... it's just that... well, I know that in the first trimester of pregnancy... there's a chance of..." He mutters.

My eyes go wide "Chrom! That won't happen! I'm perfectly healthy, and so is the baby! Besides, the doctors said that there's a less than 15% chance of that happening!" I say.

"Any chance is too high for me, Anna!" He shouts, I flinch back. His expression softens "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to shout... I'm still worried, even if there is hardly a chance of it happening." He murmurs.

I nod, and take his hand "I understand your worry, you told me the story. When you were two and Emm was eight, your mother miscarried. That won't happen to me Chrom." I say.

He sighs "I know it won't. You're strong, and so is our child." He rubs my stomach, "I'm so excited... I can't wait till you're born..." He says, tearing up a bit.

I smile, and lean back "Neither can I."

"HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN A MAN'S GOING TO PROPOSE!?!?!" Lissa asks in a very loud way.

I nearly spit out my tea "Geez Lissa! Don't scare me like that!" I say.

Lissa sits down "Sorry... it's just that, Lon'qu and I have been seeing each other for a while... and well, I'm starting to wonder if he'll ever pop the question. How do you know when they will?" She asks.

I sigh "Liss... I told you the story. Chrom was terrible when it came to dropping hints, and I never thought we would get together. But here I am, expecting his child, and talking to the best sister in law ever. You just have to figure things out on your own." I say.

Lissa sighs "Ok..."

I look around, then lean closer "But just between you and me, let's just say that I saw a certain person go into the jewelry store when I was in town." I whisper.

She gasps and smiles "Really?! I mean... wow, that probably has nothing to do with that." She says, and winks.

I wink back.
