-Narrator-

Life works in the funniest ways. Some times it works and other times it doesn't. Some people give up. Like how Kat is feeling as she sat out in the waiting room alone. She twiddled her thumbs and waited quietly as life passed her by. She was unsure of life. All the stress was too much for her. The last fifteen hours she has been in hell. 'What am I doing?' She thought to herself as she sat there gazing around to see all these moms who are already happily married, graduated high school and college and have a nice home. Kat could sense the eyes looking at her, the feeling of drowning was all she could feel. Drowning in a life that's not hers. Kat tapped her baby belly lightly, 'You don't deserve this.' She added in thought. The feeling of dread was all. 'I don't want you to live like this but I also don't want to give you away.' Her mind whisked her away back to last week's baby vlog. She told her daughter everything, all the feelings and all the things she wants to do but can't. Those things were worse than getting an abortion. But when she thought she had lost all hope, the smallest thing pulled her out from the bottom of the pool and breathed life into her. The small kicks in reply to her taps made her day worth while.

There are people like that but then there are some that keep going. They long for days that make them realize it's the litle things in life that count. It might be the way the sun is shinning on a day where an undying promise is made, like for Sarah. She has no idea she's about to be the happiest girl on earth. She has no idea that the man she is using as a pillow is about to make a promise. A promise that he'll love her not matter what. Gerard shifted as Sarah used his shoulder. His arm slung around her loosely. His other hand in his jacket pocket; feeling the small box. The feeling sent his mind spinning and a smile on his face. He heaved a deep breath of courage before shifting, causing Sarah to look up at him with groggy blue eyes. Her mind was fuzzy with sleep and hunger. Blonde strands bounced into her face.

"Gee, what's wrong?" Sarah asked with a quiet undertoned voice. Gerard couldn't help but smile at the thought of him asking her to marry him. Gerard didn't think for too long before he coughed up the courage to ask her.

"Sarah, I have something to ask you." Gerard announced sullenly. Sarah's mind was sent spinning as she watched him slide out of his chair and onto one knee. Both hearts raced as the moment of truth came up.

"Sarah, I love you, you're crazy and so amazing. And I want to spend the rest of enternity with you. So will you marry me?" Gerard's voice was shaky but confident. Sarah smiled so widely it hurt her face. But she was so happy she could hardly speak. Long moments went by and Gerard grew saddened with the lack of reply. Sarah's eyes were lite up so brightly before she replied.

".....yes."

Or how about when you finally talk about how you really feel. Kinda like Cassidy. It might also be the first time you see a life you've created. Like for Wren and Holly. Three lives will be brought into this world.

Yeah sure for Holly she has to go through so much pain. She screamed in pain while Frank watched with tears of joy streaming down his face. There was nothing that would make this moment different. And in a moment that Holly wanted to give up, there was this relief. The first sound their child made was magical. It gave them all hope. Holly smiled at the child as she tilted her head.

'This is it.' She thought sullenly, her mind racing through the words as the world slowed dow. 'I'm responsible for you now, I have to protect and cherish you with my undying love.' The childish cries as he is whisked away to start his life. 'You're real, this isn't just a dream.' Her mind stopped and she settled down into the bed. Frank stood over her, his hand in hers as he cried at the amazing sight of his child being born. He cherished the thought of being the first thing his son saw...-upside down. Frank was still in awe that a life he created was in this world. He helped make this child. The small dark eyes filled with joy and hope. The button nose just like his mothers. The small dark hairs messily sat on top of the baby's head. The blue hat covered most of it though. He looked just like his dad but you could see his mom in him. The little bundle of blue and white blankets was held in his dad's arms. The infant's cries were slumbered sweetly in a knowing that he's safe. Small smirks pressed the little boy's lips sending tears cascading down his dad's face.

"Kayden Anthony Kelly." Frank whispered softly as he cared for the small child while the baby's mother slept peacefully after almost six hours of labour. Holly had dreams of her son growing up and being happy. While her best friend Wren was being prepped for the C section.  Wren's fear was at it's max while she held Mikey's hand tightly. He could feel her fear but he was filled with joy. His sons were about to be brought into the world. Their parents awaited in the waiting room for their grand children to be announced. Wren's hazel eyes ringed with exhaustgen and nervousness. The pail of her skin was glowing with knowing her boys were about to be brought into this world. The fear factor became much greater when the doctor came into the room.

"Wren, we're ready for you." She announced. Wren nodded and sighed as they disconnected her from monoters. She squinted her eyes as she was being rolled down the hall to the OR. The doctor's insisted she must let go of Mikey's hand; she didn't want to be apart of it. She wasn't letting go. Mikey's hazel eyes glimmering down at her sweetly.

"Wren, I'll be right behind you. Don't worry, I wouldn't miss this for the world." Mikey said down to Wren, a smile played her lips as her stiff fingers untangled themselves from his. Within meer moments they were back to being at eachother's sides. Wren smiled but winced as the stirling silver touched her warm skin. Mikey was unable to look, so he kept his gaze on Wren. They both were the happiest people on earth right now. And they became happier when in the mist of the intense silence an ear piercing cry filled the room and Oliver was born. A few long moments after one cry sent the two parents reeling another was made and Eugine was pulled into the world.

Some little moments are sad and some are good. Life is funny that way. No one can explain it but it happens. Regardless of what a day holds; it always comes down to the little things.
