-Gerard-
It felt like my heart has been torn out of my chest. It's barely been a week since I asked Sarah to marry me and I find out the little girl I love with all my heart and soul might not be mine. I felt like my world was crashing down around me, the walls I built to keep the bad out were being knocked down before my eyes. If Leah turns out not to be mine I don't know what I'll do. I feel horrible but I can't imagine how Cassidy feels. Sarah is so mad at her, they haven't spoken for a week. Cass and Kat are still waiting for their daughters to be born. Which must suck. Things aren't working out so we're all moving back into our parents' houses. Holly is living with her mom, Frank is living with Kat. And we're going back to our homes. So we're selling the house.
I stood in the door way watching as Cassidy packed her things into boxes. She looked saddened by what the last week has done to us. Her blonde hair up in a pony tail as she wandered around the room in sweats and tee shirt. I shoved my hands in my pockets as I entered the room.
"Cass," I uttered softly, her blue eyes jumped up at me. She pursed her lips at me before faking a smile. It was good to know she was at least trying to be happy.
"Gerard." She muttered quietly, her voice was as raw as mine. I cringed at the sound of it. She looked at me for a long moment before going back to packing. I didn't know how to put this but it needed to be said. It's gonna be so hard.
"I'm not gonna leave Sarah and Leah if Leah isn't mine." I announced suddenly. I knew it was the right thing to do. Leah deserves a father and even if I'm not blood related to her she's still mine. I'm gonna watch her grow up and become a beautiful young lady. I owe her that much. Cassidy looked up at me with a teary smile.
"Leah deserves a dad and you're an awesome dad." She said to me sweetly. I smiled and nodded.
