My phone started ringing and it was the kids' school so I had to answer
"Hello?" I asked "yes hello I'm looking for the mother of shin areum" she said "yes this is him" I said they know our situation
"Okay well...I guess there's no easy way to say this but recently me and other teachers have notice that her mood hasn't been great she seems to be more depressed lately" she said
"Yes yes we have noticed it too" I said "and... We have noticed some cuts on her wrists" she said "are you kidding?" I asked
"No I'm very sorry about all this" she said "it's okay" I said and eventually we hung up
My little baby girl...is self-harming herself oh my god
I ran to wonho crying my eyes out and minjae started freaking out because I was crying
"Baby what's wrong?" Wonho asked "mom what's going on?" Minjae asked
"The school just called me and told me they have seen cuts on areums wrist" I said and they both looked at me with shock
Then we heard a thump I was scared so I ran to areums run I tried to open the door and it was locked "areum baby open the door" I cried she wouldn't so I kicked it in and she was laying on the floor looking lifeless
Wonho and minjae finally ran up after I screamed I ran to areum and picked her up she was limp I was so scared
"We need to go to the hospital right now" I said walking to the car I put areum on wonho's lap and he was just crying and stroking her hair
We got to the hospital and ran in freaking out...
Hours later a doctor came out "I need shin areums parents" he said we stood up "that's us" we said
"Okay well her cuts were pretty deep so we had to put stitches in most of them I'm not going to lie areum did die for a moment" he said and my heart sank
"But we successfully brought her back to life...I suggest that we put areum in a psychiatric hospital not for a long time just temporary until she's better" he said
I looked at wonho "but" I said "this will help her she's obviously going through something that we can't psychically help her with I think this would be the best as much as it kills me to do this" he said
I sighed "okay" I said "alright I'll get everything set up for her and you can visit her everyday on visiting hours " he said and I nod
"Can we see her" minjae asked "yes come this way" he said so we followed him we entered the door and she started crying when she seen us
"My little baby" I said and hugged her "mom I'm so sorry" she cried "don't be sorry baby I'm sorry that we couldn't help you" I said and she cried even more
After we explained everything to areum and the doctor talked to us we had to leave
"Let's go get mcdonalds" I said and minjae and wonho agreed we went inside and ordered three mcdoubles a moca frappé two cokes and three ice cream sundaes and three fries because we are fat
After we got done eating we went home it was like 5 pm so we all decide to watch a movie in honor of our beautiful daughter who can't be here with us for a while...
We put in her favorite movie made her favorite snack and sat on the couch to watch it Mimi and Gwangmin jumped up and watched it us
The movie got done at almost 8 so we decided to play uno because I love that game and we played it until almost 1
"Oh shit I have to work tomorrow" wonho said "I'm so tired" minjae said "okay let's go to bed" I laughed minjae went to his room and went to bed and then me wonho and the animals went to our room and got into bed
We cuddled in bed with the cat and dog beside us I think they sensed something was wrong animals are smart like that
"Areum is going to be okay don't worry hunny" he said "yeah I know but I'm scared" I said and he held me close to him and kissed my forehead while I dozed off to sleep
